Is there any way to choose which ships will be in each place? I've tried different things but it just doesn't seem to follow any pattern.

I was try to modify the formations.txt file but the game kept giving me the "can't load file" error. It's driving me mad! Anybody got a solution? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

We could use an "Ultimate Formation Collection". Fixes any AI formation problems, and provides advanced formations for new players.

I did some more simulator tests and I still think having all ships break formation and do their own jobs is a better way to go, especially since the AI loves to zig zag and doesn't know how to slow down for the people behind to catch up. |

Okay, I'm now starting the Ultimate Strategies Mod (or some such other nonsense). So far, it will include Formations.txt and Default_AI_Strategies.txt. I think I'll make a new thread for requests/submissions. I'm going to host it along with the Image Mod on my server. SJ, can you do this to, once I get the files in order?
