Since no gem gen games seem to be becoming more popular I think it would be helpful if a non gem gen version of blood stone could be added to the game. It could be a level 12 magic item so it wouldn't interfere with unmodded games but if it was needed it could be used and the gem gen blood stone deactivated.

I'm pretty confident that we will see this glorious nation some day. There even is a nation slot reserved for them (like Hinnom/Ashdod/Gath had a year ago).

In the meantime, Bandarlover is working on a modded EA Machaka. He has graphics done at least, but haven't heard of him for a while.

I hope no big dev. goes out and buys the rights to dom-IV. I suspect they'll just ruin it with their short term goals and rush to the market strat.

It's very rare when one company buys a game sequel from another company... so any DOM_4 will probably be from Illwinter which is at least 5 years away.

Anyways the recent patch updates specifically for netbooks must be a personal group of friends of Johan or Kristoffer because I haven't seen anyone from the forums requesting these changes.

I'm sure the Dominions community would love a patch update to fix the graphs as seen in DOM_2 or even some of the other important issues.

If I were abit better off Id spend a couple hundred to send Johan one of the hand-held linux gaming consoles. Or even hold off for the new Pandora. Its Ubuntu and SDL so it might provide the motivation for abit of screen and keyboard manipulation to get Dom3 into game console mode.

Hmmm... on second thought... be able to take Dom3 anywhere and anytime? Maybe that would be a bad idea. :mean:

I fell in love with the original Machaka... until I discovered they had the worst province defense in the entire game.

I would love to see the EA Machaka Lion Kings arrive with some good or even average province defense.
:)

Well how much was the PD? 15? 25? 55?

And what were the battle results such as what other troops/mages did Machaka have in the battle?

And did the wyrm have any previous afflictions?
