In my opinion, the resolution, yearly patches that fix things and improve the game, quick forum response to questions and special features only available on non-free version are worth 40 bucks.

I thought of another feature, which especially with the duo PBEM campaign possibility, would be indispensable, and that is the filter option off the range (Y) command. I have toyed with the filter a tad, but as I consider it too much of an advantage over the AI (which cannot use it) I almost haven't used it at all.

Having such a filter for firing, where both sides can use it equally, and using it for the PBEM campaign, may just make those campaigns the definitive SP experience.

OK, I'm sold. Ordered the game via electronic download (don't really need a printed manual).

Now anxiously awaiting the download instructions...

About two days ago I bought the CD version. For now I find it very convenient to see the encyclopedia per year, per type of unit. I want to take advantage of shooting and filter among other things to participate in any tournament ever jejeje. With the free version I've played a long time. I consider this an excellent game so that reason also motivated me to help buy:D:up:
