On the other side of the coin,the turns can be too excessive like 40+, but then there could be an agreement to end earlier in pbem play,
By 25-30 turns it's usually obvious who's going to win.

True - while I have rarely seen such a large amount of turns in MBT (given the PBEM setups we ran), it is however common in winSPWW2, but the WW2 games are slower and you often play with leg infantry and then you need the turns...(well, at least I do). ;)

Yep, you are right,i was referring to WW2 on excessive turns,should have made that clear.

Sometimes i forget which forum i'm in:p

I prefer no more than 25 turns or it gets old.

40 turns is too much maybe 30 tops if it's big extravaganza.

Gila,

I've just done a quick test: you cannot set up a PBEM Campaign where AI picks forces(initially).

If it allowed it, I was going to suggest we tried it ;-))
