Re: Dispel..
Still better to overwrite a global by coalition and split the income.

Re: Dispel..
OK, now you have opened up a new question...what is the 'Bonus Gems for Paths'?

Still, a 50% chance to waste some hundred gems on a failed global AND lend a helpful dispelling hand to all the enemies who spam their ever-failing globals monthly is quite harsh. Since a turn means a month, it's not like a lab manager can't direct his crew, "Mike, finish that spell of yours *after* Joe is done with his dispelling, not before". Them being powerful mages implies they are smart enough for that, after all :D |
Re: Dispel..
It also depends on the global. Some you don't want to overwrite. You just want them down.
My Atlantis is being greatly irritated by a Sea of Ice at the moment. The last thing I want to do is replace it with my own Sea of Ice. Utterdark, Burden of Time, and Astral Corruption would be more common things that you just want down. Overwriting by coalition only works with when you can split the income. Gem gens only. Maybe forge. And only if you trust the caster. Grudge: Bonus gems for paths- every level above the minimum needed to cast the global counts as 5 gems for Dispel attempts. So an S9 mage gets an extra 30 gems on Dispel (S3), but only 5 when casting Arcane Nexus (S8). |
Re: Dispel..
When you dispel a Global, does it say who dispelled it?
