About the B5 races, I think that currently doesn't exist a compiled group of all the races... but you can find the Earth Alliance, Narn and Shadows, into the TDM-Modpack. Also the Colonials are into the TDM.

Finally, I suggest that you install ALL of them under the SEIV folder, but in separate folders (one folder for TDM and maybe the Minbari, and other folder for the Trek Races). To pick the Mod that you want to play, I think that you should install the great program that Matryx did: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/ubbup...E4Launcher.zip After you became to play with the modded races, you never will come back to the standard races! |

Many thanks indeed to the pair of you for setting me straight on Mods etc - I can see that one of the attractions of SEIV is obviously the fact that it can be (almost) exactly what you want it to be! I am going to have to sit down and take the time to play around with ship sets/mods etc - I think my first priority however, is to get the hang of the game and give the Sergetti the damn good kicking they so rightly deserve! on the speach thing.. I should probably just open the file and check for myself, but that would eliminate this great opportunity for me to be a wiseass (Again).
so, can explosion sounds be shipset-specific? can i create a custom sound and have it only played when ships from _my_ shipset explode? if so, I would like them to say "OW!" "owiee!" "ouch!" or somesuch. could they say "OW!" when they are hit, and then make a icky *squish* sound when they die? that would be great, heh. If i can do that, then I can probably also have shields that go "boing!" or "ha-ha!" |

the AI_speech files and the sound files are utterly unrelated, so you can't make sounds shipset specific, but I think you could probably make them mod-specific.
