OK, lets close this thread. I think the subject has been beat to death right? The prob with those "external" mounts is that thay are still internal. Umm. I want to open a new thread for those who are really interested in creating (what I dub) the "Universal Mod" (Star Wars/Star Trek/B5/Starfire [my want]). I think that if we all bang our heads together and split the work we can create something that will go down in SE4 history as the most played AND enjoyed Mod. What say you fellow _____ .

Fill in blank with:
A: Nuts
B: Mad Men/Women
C: Kings/Queens
D: Despots
E: Presidents
F: Gods or Near Gods

You've gotta pick a more descriptive name. "Ultimate", "Universal", etc, say nothing about what the mod does. Just: "I made lots of changes, whee!"

Yah, you have a point Dogscoff. Ok, I am not looking for glory only gaming. How about whoever will help me in this can also contribute to its name? Sonds reasonable right?

1. No there isn't one although you and two others will try. You will also try again when a new version of this game; called SE5, hits the market.
2. Yes there are a few. Try a website called SpaceEmpries.net run by one of the members here named Fyron. In the downloads section you should find just what you want.
3. No and No; not the way you are thinking. When SE5 comes out that will be much closer.
4. Don't worry about them. They won't work the way you are thinking either.

Hope I could be of some help PES. Feel free to ask any more questions. And no, you are not crazy, you just don't have the experience yet. In time you will come to see that most new modders ask the same questions and usually feel silly slash crazy when asking. Relax, make yourself at home. Over the next 5 years you won't find another forum with a community as great as this one. Although watch out for Fyron, he may be nuts. And the one we call SJ. He has a way of looking at things that can shoot way over the mark. Not that he is wrong; he is usually right and always helpful. Be sure to pester CPT Kwok at least once a month for nothing at all. He likes that. And Atrocities is a really great guy, you can't bug him enough with questions or ideas.
