Well, here is a lesson for us all! I thought that I knew the game inside-out; never knew about the '5' key! How humiliating. All fine now... I will crawl into a hole somewhere.

You seem to be tsling about Formation Ids (the text info eg B01) and confusing that with ID tags (flags :den).

Again, see the post I made above.

There does not seem to be any way to toggle the Formation Ids off for anyone who does not like them (and apart from yourself, nobody has requested that) - simply hit the 5 key on the first battle screen you see and they will go away till you exit the game.
