My god... I didn't know that there were that many races for SE IV! There were never that many for SE III as far as I know. I use a mix of standard, TDM-ModPack and a few others; the two I've played the most games with would be the Sharlon Kingdom and the Zedron Empire.

Hadrian Aventine and John Beech both create nicely textured, exotic ships.

My personal favorite is Hadrian's "Federal Union", a spinoff of the sleek, phalus-like ships of the 1950's. I have created a whole human sect around them called the "Pontine Lepers".

There are so many other good ships out there to be named. This is one of my attractions to SEIV. You never know who is playing what shipset. Most games I have played on PBW have new ships I have yet to install.

I try to get a dl of just about every shipset out there I find..so I have about 60 shipsets

i have been using the stock ship set - Praetorian lately for PBW.

I hope one day they change there ship set listing to a alphabetical listing. It can be difficult to find ship sets sometimes

tesco: in the ship list, press the first letter of the set you want. Keep pressing it until you find the set- the list will go to each set with that letter first, then start over at the end.
