Consider it buying insurance against the next hardware-based problem for PBW. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif IOW, an effort to ensure that the NEXT (inevitable) time PBW goes down hard ... the account is that much more likely to be able to cover the expense of getting PBW back up and running ASAP. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I usually try to donate $10 a month (when I'm in a game) but I miss a month here and there. Still, I should be listed in the Battleship Category by now...grin.

I think it's worth it to have the opportunity to play with lots of different people.

I guess I'll send another $10 this month...as said below...to help with buying duct-tape and spit the next time the server has a problem...grin. Too bad you can't afford one of those new servers from Compaq like we just got at work (Drool !!!)...I think just about everything is hot-swappable (except the motherboard).

Finally, I would hope the makers of the games would give some support...after all, it makes SE4 much more appealing.

Heh... yes, the UI Guy (me) has been extremely lax about getting the donors list updated. I'm going to see what I can do sometime soon. I'm just going to have to get Geo to yell at me every so often to do it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Geo... Every time I go on holidays and stay around the house... The PBW server goes down...

Perhaps I should travel when I am off..
