Re: Moo Mod ?
OK, here it is!
http://galileo.spaceports.com/~ekolis/SE4/moo2mod.zip (~700K) Probably should have removed all the files I didn't get around to modifying, but hey, it's not all THAT big anyway http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif (Ooh, a New Orion! Now I wish someone would make an Ithkul shipset for SE4 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif ) |

Re: Moo Mod ?
The race/tank/infantry etc. graphics in MOO3 are stored in the graphics.mob file. You can open this with winzip.
Sadly the ship graphics are stored in a weird format (*.vsx files) and not extractable - but people are working on it. I guess a motivated indivdual could just make screenshots of the MOO3 ship design screens to make shipsets for the various races for now... A MOO3 mod would be very cool, i'm not sure on the legal issues though. |
Re: Moo Mod ?
just a notice - many of the MoO2 images are in Image Mod, specifically shields and such.
Readme file says it was Fyron who did it. Fyron..? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif |

Unless you use their images, weapon names, race names or such. Then they do. Phoenix-D |
Re: Moo Mod ?
If you try to claim them as your own, sure. They aren't going to sue you for making a mod.

Probably not, but the option is there. Phoenix-D |
