Re: Cloaking, Blocking, and Storms
Enough resources and (of course!) minister off. Would a minefield from him in ANOTHER sector within the same system detect my cloaker? Or would allies of him in the sector with appropriate detectors transmit their knowledge?

Re: Cloaking, Blocking, and Storms
I usually don't bother with cloaking devices, because by the time I get them everyone else already has a high level of at least one type of sensor (I do hope that for SEV the different types of sensors actually detect different things). Am I missing something? Are there situations where cloaking devices are really worthwhile?

Re: Cloaking, Blocking, and Storms
I once tried to make a level IV cloak that no level III sensor could detect. I must have messed it up as it caused errors and would not work. Has any one been able to make a level IV or higher cloak?

Re: Cloaking, Blocking, and Storms
Mines are level 5. Presto.
P&N uses gravitic cloaking levels up to about level 1400, in order to make the relative effectiveness of sensors easier to grasp. 1500- tonnage of ship = gravitic cloak level of ship. |
Re: Cloaking, Blocking, and Storms
I just created a level 6 cloaked ship hull for my Tug of War game and it works perfectly.

Re: Cloaking, Blocking, and Storms
Maybe you ran out of supplies/resourses? Ships decloak automatically in that case IIRC
