I thought this was listed as fixed in the Gold patch 3 history.txt. It's pretty clearly fixed. I don't think you need to set damage to 20% either, unless you want to spread fire to undamaged targets.

pvk, just try it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif i dont know WHY it works, but i know it works. i suspect that the percentages go for to-kill-over. like 80% = 100% and 80% more to ensure its dead.
If you try a baseship with LOTS of weapons (like 23 meson bLasters) you'll still see it shoot with every second weapon (at different targets). And no, it does NOT spread the damage. it targets a new target only once the previous one isnt a threat anymore - that means, it is either dead or has no means to retalitate (and has shields down) but this is modifyable in the targetting priority. YES IT WAS FIXED!! DUH! it works as it should, or perharps im using too small of a target... dunno.
