Hey I see you posted the race for download. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Nice set all round. Good work.

here is the link for those who don't want to look for it.

Tis worth the download time IMHO. OH, and its Neo Standard too. Thats is always a big plus. And it has a couple extra ships more than Neo calls for cool. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

There is no description as of yet, but basically the Oxmal are a race that value rock, they love it, they incorperate it into their designs as all of their ships are made in part by asteroids cut to exacting specifications and designs. The process that they employee in manufacturing give their ships a shiny polished appearance.

Oh ya, the set is also neo-standard.

I know it is not much to look at, but if you read the description, it explains the rock look. Enjoy or not; I had fun making the set so there. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

You know... that would make a good Magic race for Adamant Mod. Mind if they get incorporated? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Keep making new shipsets at this pace and you will pass Atrocities late next year http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

The Oxmal is a great looking set. I espescially love the larger ships, they are pure gold.

But there's always something. Its difficult to tell which way the smaller ships (up to LC) are heading. Would it be possible to make them a little wider (and/or whiter) at the back ?

Re: I Finally Did It

The Oxmal

I enlarged the mini ships and given the smaller ships a more defined aft appearance.

Sure by all means Fyron, feel free to use them for you mod.

They look really nice CNC. Especially the revision set as it makes them far more viewable. Good work.

what spare parts?

Atrocities November 26th, 2003 01:31 AM

Re: I Finally Did It

I made a about spare items total for use with any ship set. Something on the order of 15 bases, 25 troops, 15 weapon platforms, mines, and satellites. I posted about it some time ago. I also posted about it at www.spaceempires.net

Re: I Finally Did It

CNC, after creating your zip files, please delete the file Thumbs.db. It adds 200 KB to the files for no reason! It is the file used by XP to store the thumbnails for thumbnail viewing. It will be overwritten on anyones computer that wants to view them in thumbnail view anyways. So, it is a waste of bandwidth to include that file. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: I Finally Did It

Man I do so very much hate XP. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif

Thanks for the tip Fyron. I guess I should have cought this when I zipped them. Must set PC up to detect hidden folders.
