Okay, Tujin has gone with Pangaea. Mivayan is taking R'lyeh, then?

I've been really tempted to join, but I've gotta cook dinner and a 6 o'clock start (mountain time zone) is just a little too early.

besides that this map is scary http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

anyways, good luck all.

I'm glad someone's taking a sea nation. Everytime I load up a test game I end up in some little island or outcrop. Except, of course, for the one time I decide to try out "water cult", in which case I started in China...

Of course, I don't believe in anything as antiquated as "regular meals". When I feel hungry, I eat. Cooking is kind of bothersome, so I just eat stuff mostly raw. Tastes better anyway.

Well, kickoff's in 40 minutes, ladies. Has everyone signed in?

Argitoth March 13th, 2004 01:23 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

do you have ICQ, MSN, AIM, or Yahoo? Or IRC?

It's kinda lame to play a dom2 network blitz game and not have any communication.

Hurry it up, ladies!

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Well, there was no interruption as far as I'm aware of, since I was logged in the entire time.

Must have been a router hiccup somewhere out there between you and the server.

Better luck next time!

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

And we are now officially waiting on Argitoth.

Norfleet March 13th, 2004 02:08 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

And so it begins.

Truper March 13th, 2004 04:16 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

And is it ended? Trust Argitoth to say he has to go 2 hours into a monster game...

Norfleet March 13th, 2004 04:21 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

Yep, looks like we're stalled for the night.

Typical. I guess they just don't make 12 year olds like they used to. I figured he'd at LEAST Last until midnight....but they just don't make 'em like they used to.

Norfleet March 13th, 2004 04:22 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

So, time call: What's the earliest everyone here can resume the rumble tomorrow?

Truper March 13th, 2004 04:25 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

Is master password enabled? If it is, I'd say set C'tis to computer control....

Otherwise I can continiue any time tomorrow.

Any time is fine for me too, as long as we agree on it here.

Norfleet March 13th, 2004 04:31 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

I would, but there are a number of specators looking for a piece of Argitoth, and botting him would deprive the eager fans of this. If he does this again TOMORROW, I'll certainly consider it.

Also, while there is a master password, it's not actually *MY* server, it's being hosted by a third party. So I don't know what it is anyway.

Norfleet March 13th, 2004 04:32 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

Okay, the earliest time Tujin can start is 1400 EST. Is this good for everyone?

Graeme Dice March 13th, 2004 04:33 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

Sure, that time sounds good.

mivayan March 13th, 2004 04:38 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

yes, that is good

Truper March 13th, 2004 04:40 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

Sorry - I should have said any time tomorrow evening. The earliest I'd be able to go would be 1800.

Norfleet March 13th, 2004 04:43 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

So, 1800 EST is currently our earliest start.

Let's see if we can't get it rolling by then.

I'm not surprised at this most recent childish and irresponsible behavior, but my dislike actually stems from his rude, obnoxious, and generally annoying forum posting habits. The fact that he's also arrogant, conceited, and downright boorish only adds to his considerably negative charm. To be precise, I do not detest him. I loathe him. A loathing full of utter contempt and disdain. I'm embarrassed to even live in the same country as such an ill-mannered, undereducated lout.

Thanks for a good game argitoth. I dont think I managed to kill a single sauromancer despite destroying big parts of your empire.

I am out for today, lets continue tomorrow.

Norfleet March 14th, 2004 05:56 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

Okay, Tujin is, unfortunately, working 1700-2300 EST tomorrow.

The alternatives are that we start relatively late for the EST-siders, or we call a long break to ponder over our next moves at length, and see what everyone's Monday looks like.

Argitoth March 14th, 2004 06:01 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

I have a bunch of work to do tomorrow, so it might be best to wait for a while. If possible, we could set it up as a daily game until we have time to go crazy again. I know that I don't want to give up just when I'm starting to get involved in the wars.

Norfleet March 14th, 2004 06:19 AM

Re: The New Game: The Revenge

No problem. We can leave the game kinda cruising on Quickhost until we can orchestrate a mass-gathering.

So, no official gametime tomorrow, then, just drop by and take your turn whenever.

What's everyone's Monday look like?
