Two pretenders to go... Thanks, Chris!

I'll be able to upload Pan after work in about 6 hours.

Pan uploaded.

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

We've got nine up, and I think it's everyone. Does this mean that someone could click "Start Game" now?

Jurri September 15th, 2005 07:29 PM

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Supposedly, but it's not a bad idea to let the host start it either, if only to verify the settings and hosting times and such, in my opinion.

Turn 1 commences!

Sweet!
Dibs on Victor...

Jurri September 16th, 2005 06:17 AM

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Victor is MINE! Hearing that having him was your dream, I just had to crush it.

There's a turn 2 for you gentlemen.

Maringon rises the flag of true faith!

...And then this sublime origin of true faith has to ask for short break if that is possible at all?
(I am going to weekend cottage trip and i will be back on monday evening +2GMT.)

If no break is possible we understand.

CUnknown September 16th, 2005 12:14 PM

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Sure man, I don't want people to stale so early.

We will take a break. Actually, I haven't even set any forced hosting time, it's just on quickhost right now. So, I don't even have to change anything, if you don't take your turn, it won't host.

Turn 3 up!

Jurri September 16th, 2005 08:14 PM

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Oh, silly me didn't notice that poor Victor was too fast for his own good! I just hate the bug where heroically quick units rush the enemy even with fire orders... Well, I bought him only to spite Ygorl anyway. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

It's working now for me...
And, Jurri, Victor surely would have joined my righteous crusade if he had known what you had in store for him. We all mourn his passing.

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Turn 4 is there!

Angelique joins our holy crusade to clense the world of false prophets!

Ygorl September 19th, 2005 05:52 PM

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Angelique, she's purty!

Re: Invisible Swarm 4: pregame

Nah, Vic liked his greenbacks too much to think things through. He was a great guy, it's sad that he ran to his death. Maybe he felt like doing the right thing for once in his life, and risk it all for a higher cause: the ascension of the one, true god!

CUnknown September 19th, 2005 09:29 PM

Full steam ahead!

Host schedule set to 24-hour quickhost.

Jurri September 20th, 2005 08:49 AM

Re: Full steam ahead!

There seems to be a new turn in. Boron's obviously playing an angle and didn't let anyone know http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Ygorl September 20th, 2005 11:09 AM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Jurri, stop it!
Fordo, you're a two-timing bastard.
And Sanne, I promise Arcoscephale is a very nice place to work.

Cainehill September 20th, 2005 05:05 PM

Re: Full steam ahead!

New turn.

Jurri September 20th, 2005 06:39 PM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Damn that skank, Sanne! I only hope you paid through the nose, you bastard! Well, women are fickle...

Ygorl September 21st, 2005 01:38 AM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Women just don't like men who take 45 minutes to get undressed. Have you ever tried removing Ulmish black plate? Not a sexy process. Now, an astrologer's robe...

Cainehill September 21st, 2005 02:16 AM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Well.... Women would _love_ if it took Meatloaf 45 minutes to get undressed. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Ygorl September 21st, 2005 03:12 AM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Then I definitely think Jurri should recruit Meatloaf to his cause. Preferably as his next prophet.

Turn is up!

Jurri September 21st, 2005 07:15 AM

Re: Full steam ahead!

I'll make meatloaf outta you, buster! And I ain't gonna prophetize you either, but feed to the dogs.

Ygorl September 21st, 2005 01:39 PM

Re: Full steam ahead!

New turn is ready.
Also, Jurri, why the aggression? It's bad for the complexion!

Jurri September 21st, 2005 07:31 PM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Oh, you wanna be buddies now that you stole my number 1 girl and left me only a midget? ... ... ...sure.

Squish 'em, Jurri.

Pound 'em, Ygorl.

Re: Full steam ahead!

Another new turn is up, incidentally...

Ygorl September 22nd, 2005 01:02 PM

Re: Full steam ahead!

And I've woken up to yet another new turn, for those who are checking this forum more frequently than they are the game itself.
I think I like this map, by the way, at least the neighbors setup. Not sure yet what I think on the segregation of terrain types; it seems like it would be pretty easy to have only unattractive options for early expansion.

Whollaborg September 22nd, 2005 05:06 PM

Re: Full steam ahead!

Agree on that Ygorl!

Perhaps there might be some less favorable starting locations even thou the overall is splendid!
Southeast and South might need just couple more of those farmlands...

Ygorl September 23rd, 2005 10:50 AM

Turin?

The game is hosting in ten minutes, and Turin (T'ien Ch'i) still hasn't taken his turn.
Turin, where are you? Is there something we should know?

Turin September 23rd, 2005 12:28 PM

Re: Turin?

Damn this game is moving fast. I was away for a little over 24 hours and missed one turn. No big deal though

CUnknown September 23rd, 2005 04:39 PM

Re: Turin?

Yes, it's a 24-hour quickhost game. If you know you're going to be away, shoot me a PM, or just post here and I can slow it down for you.

Turn 16 is ready for y'all.
Do people like that I post these notices, or should I not bother?

Turin September 26th, 2005 04:53 AM

Re: new turn

I appreciate it. Since we donīt have email notification itīs pretty nice.

jeffr September 26th, 2005 11:07 AM

Re: new turn

I like it. When I'm the last to go, I try to post a new turn notice here.

Ygorl September 26th, 2005 06:44 PM

Re: new turn

In that case, I happened to notice that a new turn is up!

Jurri September 26th, 2005 06:55 PM

Re: new turn

Yeah, definitely appreciated! That God's Eye doesn't work with my old clonker, so it's annoying to check the status.
