Indeed, Vanheim is indeed sieging Lanka's former capital, still defended by valiant sons of Niefelheim, but do you really believe that will do any good to infernal ape nation?

For all the other nations, wake up and get prepared. Soon the the glorious realm of Niefelheim will fall under Vanir avalanche, and then the Vanir, controlling not only their own lands, but Sauromatians, Niefelheims and Lankas one will roll over you all.

johnarryn June 3rd, 2007 02:41 AM

Re: turn 25

Vanheim responded to the piteous cries of Lanka for aid with the only thing Niefelheim listens to: force. Lanka's capital will be returned to them once we root out the evil giants, who still hold sway over much of the North. Do not believe the giants' lies.

Re: Turn 27

Unfortunatly for the nation of Mictlan, they are fighting a small fraction of my armies, so "devoid of defense" is a rather poor assessment. Furthermore, it seems that controlling an entire island and paying homage to infernal demons has won them few friends. The Eagle Kings remain at peace with the men of the North, and the Triton Kings stand shoulder to wing with us in our war against the blood worshippers. I invite the nations of Agartha and Rlyeh to join this coalition and rid the Southern lands of this blight.

Methel June 4th, 2007 03:53 PM

Re: Turn 27

Make you're excuses if you want. The fact remains that the nation of Mictlan are not the aggressors of this unprovoked attack.
If you want to support the warmonger, go ahead.

I made no excuses. The Eagle Kings proudly go into battle to stop the expansion of a foe who would butcher their own civilians to strengthen their nation.

Re: Game starting, waiting for pretenders.

Lanka infernal ape nation? little markata ape must cry. Big men with clubs bang joyous apes an head, make hot soap out of flesh and ashtray out of hands call Lanka infernal? Vanheim people will teach you lesson.

The agartha people will join the coallition of the willing and rid the world of this axis of evil. (Mitchigan)

Methel June 5th, 2007 08:28 AM

Re: Game starting, waiting for pretenders.

Evil? Butcher?
The God of Mictlan craves blood, and the followers are willing. We have lines of candidates hoping for the honor, the privilege of sacrificing themselves to our God!

Do not talk to us about butchery, more blood has been spilled on the battlegrounds in a few short months, then there ever has been on the temples of Mictlan.

So I say again, make you're excuses if you like, but we see you're aggression for what it truly is. Land Lust.

We raise the call, who will stand with us against these aggressors? Will you take up the sword and face them with us on the fields of battle, or cower in you're homes until they decide you are the evil one now?

I kinda wish score graphs where on, my lands are so barren Im not sure theres any point in holding on to them http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif
Too bad there isn't a mass teleport spell that lets you move you're capital.

Atreides June 5th, 2007 09:17 PM

Re: Turn 29

Yeah, Im one of the few people who always wishes score graphs were on, but no one else seems to like em. In any case, even if your lands are barren, at least your troops aren't too expensive, and damn those jaguar warriors keep tearing me a new one. I can't get them to break! It's pretty horrifying watching them tear through my guys, because apparently Caelum is big on that whole, flying makes up for lack of ability to fight at all http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif. And to Willburn, thank you, I laughed for about 5 minutes when I saw you coalition of the willing comment.

johnarryn June 5th, 2007 09:40 PM

Re: Turn 29

Perhaps i'll put score graphs on in my next game... although I don't like them, as they tend to lead to the "dogpile on the biggest guy" thing. That's not necessarily bad when someone is clearly dominating the game, but it can be bad when someone inches slightly ahead and is killed by everybody else...

I tend to feel like people know when someone is really taking the game without the need for score graphs.

Re: Turn 29

The evil lord of agartha tried by surprise to bring death and destruction upon the civilised and peaceful ape nation of kailasa.

Of course they failed. Now they are running for their lifes as we discipline them and provide them the light of civilisation and peace.
We are not cruel, but as parents must sometimes be rude with their children, civilized nation must sometimes give harsh lesson to less favorised one.

May the fate of arghata be a warning to all nations and prevent them for worshiping evil.

Stelteck.

Possible delay....

Just a heads up that I may not be able to get my turns in on time in the next few days...

We just had like the 50 year storm in Newcastle, Australia.....power was knocked out for 18 hours...It's only just come back...but no guarentees as another big front is about to hit.

Would it be possible to set the turn timer to 48 hrs temporarily?

Well, my last effort plan of trying to wipe big Vanheim army with summoned Lammashtas didn't work (damn the mounted hirdmen and their speed!). My capital is sieged, i'm down to 4 provinces which hardly brings enough income to even pay upkeep.
I'm sending out my 200 gems in hopes that they will help to avenge the glorious giants. I expect to hold out behind the castle walls for a few more turns, and then go out with a bang http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
