Re: Fourmageddon

I will be doing my turn in about 3-4 hours. Sorry for such a delay but I'm working whole day today :/
Will you be able to do one more turn after me yet? - About 22:00 London Time.

Re: Fourmageddon

We will stale next turn then.

Guess I read this post, so I played on.

Re: Fourmageddon

I'll do my turn about 20:00 London time... how long would that take before we swith to standard quick host?

Folket July 24th, 2007 01:48 PM

Re: Fourmageddon

We will return to hosting once a day tomorrow.

hako July 24th, 2007 04:09 PM

Re: Fourmageddon

Do we play another one before host?

Folket July 24th, 2007 04:25 PM

Re: Fourmageddon

We continue to play turn until someone says we should stale.

hako July 24th, 2007 07:38 PM

Re: Fourmageddon

Well... 5 hours before host no one said we should stale, but also no one made his turn... I don't want to take any advantage:)

EDIT:
4 hours left - still no one moved - we shall stale than.

Folket July 25th, 2007 04:28 AM

Re: Fourmageddon

I got alot to do yesterday so I failed to do a second turn as planed. Tonight the quickhost will be removed and we will not have to worry again.

This game sounds... confusing http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Re: Fourmageddon

That 'stale turn' thing requires even more strategy planing, because you have to consider your orders will last for 2 turns:) Blood hunt, taxes, mercenaries, cast a spell and next turn your mage will 'rest'... heheh http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Hello, I'm sick but given how little I have to do in this game I feel that we can continue to play it.

Re: Fourmageddon

is the server running?

jimkehn July 26th, 2007 11:51 PM

Re: Fourmageddon

Uh-oh....I set my nation to AI. I didn't want to really do that, but I did. Wasn't paying attention when I exited out of the program............

But....since I was beat anyway........ Nice job, Hako. You did a good job of defeating Marignon. A good a worthy opponent.

Folket July 27th, 2007 02:07 AM

Re: Fourmageddon

The server is up again.

Folket July 31st, 2007 04:40 AM

Re: Fourmageddon

Seems like the game is over. Well played everyone.

Re: Fourmageddon

I staled my last turn by accident but I can see Ermor withdrew his forces - deadly dragon:) Good job Folket, I have no idea how did you resist Power of Ermor and still hit him back, I thought you were finished - but well done.
I was wondering about a game on a larger map, maybe 8 players 4 vs 4 or sth... could have been interesting.
Thanks for the game.

Re: Fourmageddon

Heh Hako, that horror you conjured up, was the reason I withdrew, it would have killed everything I had.

I would have just been playing a fighting withdrawl on 2 fronts until you finished me off.

Re: Fourmageddon

It kind of bugs me that I did not get to see the battle in which my wyrm died. With earth power and fire shield I thought he would have good chances. I guess his chest wound got the best of him.

hako, Caelum mages are pretty powerful in battle. Even more so when using storm power. They also work very well unscripted. I scripted them to air shield, storm power, cast spells.

I saw the battle and you got it spot on Folket, the +5 enc meant he quickly went over 100 fatigue, the casting of the spells just made it worse.

I was so sure I had you at that point but alias not. Caelum of all ages is a good nation to play.

Those hurricanes/rain of toads on my capital did me in as well. I think unrest was 200+.
