Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running

Point is that I don't have Internet at home, so on weekend I was planing to visit my friend and check mail from him. But when I heard of 60 hour delay I just relaxed and invited that friend to play on my home local net... so I was anaware of going turns. That it.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running

Ulm is stomped, my start was way to close to rlyeh, and i took a bit of a gambit build, so im missing early game firepower.

I set myself to AI, and hope that everyone has a good game.

Turn file is corrupted

I can't open turn 10 I get a "turn file is corrupted" message.

I tried to ask for a resend, but had the same result.

Twan June 12th, 2008 05:19 AM

Works now

Problem was solved in the second by Llamabeast The Fast One.

Thanks a lot.

Re: Works now

Ermor out. 3 dead nations on turn 14. Wow ^^

alhorro June 15th, 2008 12:57 PM

Re: Works now

It was surprising.
Taking a look at HoF kills column we can assume that it was Utgard who'd gifted the Final Death to poor Ermorians. Am I right? (:

Twan June 15th, 2008 03:54 PM

Re: Works now

Yes. Ermor was rather unlucky to start in my backyard, considering local geography and his dominion stronger than mine I had no reasonable choice except rushing him.

Twan June 16th, 2008 10:21 AM

Bid for d gems

Cool to have ermorian capitol, but less cool to have half my provinces under 1k pop.

So I invite anyone interested to bid here in gold for 25 death gems.

Minimal price is 350g. I'll take the best offer posted here before tomorrow (tuesday) at 15h GMT (effective trade will take place next turn).

WraithLord June 16th, 2008 10:37 AM

Re: Bid for d gems

I'll pay 425g for the gems (17g per gem).

Twan June 17th, 2008 06:46 AM

Re: Bid for d gems

425g one time...

About 6 hours left. Is there really only one candidate, or will there be a last minute outbid... ? suspense...

The last offer isn't recievable as the .5 can't be paid. :p

Gems allocated to Patala for 480g.

Jazzepi June 17th, 2008 12:25 PM

Re: Bid for d gems

I demand a recount! The .5 was a hanging chad!

Blah, I'll pay 500g. 18.5g for honorable factor http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Mighty Utgard, do we make the trade this turn?

Twan June 17th, 2008 01:08 PM

Re: Bid for d gems

Yes.

@Jazzepi Giant lawyers say : Biding was stated to be "in gold" not in chads or copper pieces. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

More seriously, a last minute +1 when WL which seemed motivated and made several serious offers was probably not online was rather evil. I would have accepted it only to respect the word of my rules, when I forgot to give a minimum increment. But with the .5 to give me an excuse to ignore the offer, I prefer to do so...

WraithLord June 17th, 2008 01:16 PM

Re: Bid for d gems

That's true. I was indeed offline. I've considered "setting" an auto agent that will increment the bid for me until a limit of 500g. But then I was sure someone would just abuse it and pull the bid up anyway so I haven't. In any case I think its a good trade, 25g per gem is what you get as an alchemist for fire gems.

Actually, I'll wait until about the middle of tomorrow before putting the game back up.

We're approaching turn 20, does anyone want 48 hour hosting?

The LlamaServer seems to be having difficulty reaching its mail server at the moment. Fear not. Games won't host until it is fixed.

Llamaserver difficulties have already been resolved. However next turn was postponed once again. And we're all still waiting for Agartha. As far as I remember, Agartha is almost destroyed, and he staled his last turn — so to my mind he just gave up without notifying us :-/

I sent him a PM, I'm going to go ahead and set him to AI. I didn't realize he was almost gone anyways.
