As for females, by default they got to none-combat roles and only have 2-3 weeks of Tironut. I'm a bit exaggerating when I say this, but most end up as some sort of secretary http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif
Of course, there are quite a few that want combat duties, and they do the same things their male counterparts do.

And yes, I'm home for saturday, but that probably won't be happening too often.

I think that's the difference between "female soldier", and "female military support personnel". I know I'd be annoyed at anyone calling themselves a soldier for going through a 2 week camp on how to properly make your bed, and what an MRE is. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Yes, they usually let you go back home the first saturday. In my basic training, only after the first weekend did we get weapons&proper-training so we could start doing guard duty ourselves.
