I'm going to be gone over the weekend, and I'm not sure if I'll have internet. Could we postpone hosting of turn 8 by 24 hrs?

Re: Beyond - MA - Slumbering on

Postponed hosting by 48 hours - Mictlan has two stales in a row now, sent him a PM to see if he's still around. If not, I'll post for a sub.

Quitti March 10th, 2009 01:32 PM

Re: Beyond - MA - LOOKING FOR PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE PLAYER FOR MICTLAN

No word from Mictlan - I'll postpone hosting for 72 hours or until we find a sub, if no sub is found within 72h, mictlan is being set to AI.

For possible candidates, Mictlan currently has staled last three turns and is NOT enjoying much of a huge empire currently. We are on a turn 9 now, and you can see the scores HERE. Please see the first post of this thread for game rules before applying.

Re: Beyond - MA - LOOKING FOR PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE PLAYER FOR MICTLAN

He's got four provinces, and 3 stales. Just set him to AI.

Very well - if no volunteers are up by tomorrow, Mictlan will be set to AI.

Well, 4 provinces is still more than 3 stales ;)

I'll look for someone to set him AI then... Anyone who is willing to do this, PM me with your email.

My joke was that you were going to let him stale one more time before replacing him ;)

May all those whimpering nations worshipping false demigods know that Machaka is looking for gems of death magic. In return we can offer the essence of fire, air, water, astral and nature power, on the basis of one gem for one.

PM me if interested.

Re: Beyond - MA - Need a kind person to set one player AI, see inside thread.

Haven't had luck in finding anyone still to set Mictlan AI. Also T'ien Ch'i has staled last 3 turns - sent him a PM also if he's still with us. If not, few stales and he'll be (hopefully) going AI too. Or getting a sub. He's not in a good shape either though...

Yeah, 3 consecutive stales without a word in the forum - he's not coming back. I vote for setting TC to AI at the same time as Mictlan.

Re: Beyond - MA - Need a kind person to set one player AI, see inside thread.

I think I need to do them one at a time because two turns with the same serial number will cause an error.

Only a warning, which we'll ignore. If you do them both, the turn will host and we'll finally be playing again! The main reason someone in the game doesn't do it is that they would see information they shouldn't have - the warning is incidental.

Ok, I didn't know that. Since Lingchih has also volunteered to help it looks like we'll even be able to avoid the warning; I can switch Mictlan and he can switch TC.

Once llamabeast gets a chance to restore admin passwords Quitti can change to our e-mails.

I also have some RL stuff to attend at weekend/monday, so I'll extend the turn that should host on friday evening/saturday to monday evening or tuesday morning.

Re: Beyond - MA - Stomping on

There is an error with the mac version of the latest patch, that means I (and perhaps others too) need a pause until the problem is solved.

It seems to be a mistake made by Illwinter in sending the wrong file to Shrapnel. Hopefully they will solve it fast.

Quitti March 18th, 2009 08:28 AM

Re: Beyond - MA - Stomping on

Thanks to the help of Lingchih and Valerius we're going again - though since Mac users are experiencing problems - I'm extending the turn until next monday evening for everyone to get their things in order.

So, is Mictlan AI now?

He just attacked me out of the blue (he lost but he attacked).

I was going to send him a note asking if that was a mistake as it was an indie province we both attacked,

If he is AI I won't bother.

Trumanator March 26th, 2009 02:10 PM

Re: Beyond - MA - Stomping on

I think him and TC are both AI.

Re: Beyond - MA - Stomping on

Mictlan and TC are indeed both AI.

You can see this from ingame Statistics -> Pretenders of the World screen.

I would like to ask for a delay this weekend 4/3 thru 4/5.

I will be playing Rugby out of town leaving Friday morning and coming back Sunday evening.

If you can get a turn out thursday evening or EARLY Friday morning I will complete it and we would only have to postpone 1 day.

Thanks you...

I think the last three times I've run into ocean nations trying to get onto land very quickly, I've just driven them off because they have so little immediate recourse.

Aye. I was certainly outgunned by the PoD. At one time I had a force with a 50/50 chance to take him down (per SP simulations) but that vanished with his next accessory upgrade.

I PM'ed Fantomen about it. If no answer comes by tomorrow, Agartha will be set AI.

Also, this weekend we'll have a bit of extension to hosting since one of our players is going away for that period. Hosting will continue latest at monday morning GMT

I have submitted my turn (Thursday evening) and will be leaving early Friday morning.

If you will set it till monday Morning and quickhost I will be back sometime Sunday (depends on the games Sunday and 5 hour drive) and will get tuen in regardless of the time I get home so I won't hold you guys up any more than I have to.

Thanks for the extension!!!!

I am also out of town this weekend, Fri noonish thru Sunday PM (Eastern US timezone). I just finished the last turn though, so I think I would still miss two turns, Fri night and Sat night.

(Although Jotunheim is mopping the floor with Caelum corpses, I'm somehow enjoying it).

Hi guys,

well with easter coming up i need to let you all know that I am taking my self and the family away for a week. (much needed mini holiday...)

I'll be leaving good Friday 10th April and returning the following Friday, the 17th. Would it be possible to get a week break in the game turns or...?

Don't worry, the next turn due will be monday morning EU time, so if you can get a turn in sunday, you shouldn't stale any.

I'm going to Estonia myself for a week also, from 9th to 14th (return date is not set to stone yet) to see some old friends, so that'd suit me very well. Unless somebody disagrees strongly. I'll be probably taking my laptop with me though, so I can get some turns in, but won't be using much time for that.

Re: Beyond - MA - Stomping on

No strong disagreements from me. I just thought if it was just one person going away for a week, then getting a sub would help keep the game going.
