I am sorry you guys, but I have staled by 20 minutes a couple of times now, so can I request an extension of the time? I find these staleings, detrimental to my nation.

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

The hosting is at an inconvenient time for people who get off work at 6:30 CST. Personally, I blame that for my humiliating defeats by Vanheim.

Hurmio February 4th, 2010 07:26 AM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

I don't mind a change to the host time, if it's causing problems for some players.

I wonder how active is our admin? He has staled quite a few turns in a row now.

I am wanting to buy a horror helmet or two. I can pay in E or S gems. PM me if you want to sell.

This is kind of a long shot but I wanted to say I can also pay (handsomely) for jade knives should someone want to sell me some.

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

AdmiralZhao, you mostly do your turn last one, and then end of turn is generated. Why you do not do 2nd turn immediately then? Maybe it would soloved your problem?

Hint: never kill gamehost in the beginning of the game:))

Trumanator February 5th, 2010 12:00 AM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

If Ferrosol has been eliminated its time to find another admin. Its not fair to demand that he devote his time to a game he has no stake in.

Edit: Uh oh, it looks like we might have a problem. I just looked at the staling data and it appears that Ferrosol staled at least the last 5, possibly the last 7 turns. I'll see if I can pm llamabeast about giving me the admin password if thats all right with everyone else.

militarist February 5th, 2010 01:42 AM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

I tried to ping Ferrosol few times, and he answered only once. It's not easy. And he was permanently killed this turn only. I think contacting llamabeast will be required earlier or later for it.

NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I got home form work. I spent about 40 minutes doing my turn. I sent it in about 6 minutes before the turn processed. It didn't quite get there in time.

It said I staled.

ARgggggggggggggggggggggg!

Do to this I lost my pretender and a bunch of equipment I could have saved.

I would like to request the server moves to a 48 hour schedule.

Until either Ferrosol returns or llama responds to my pm we're kind of stuck

>>NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

To avoid such feelings, I usually send my turn several times - one time for speed if needed and then resend my turn sometimes 5-6 times after it :) when better ideas comes to mind, and never as a last player. I have quite free daily schedule though, anyway.

Okay, llamabeast has given me the password, so we will be moving to a 48 hour host now. Direct all further inquiries about hosting, extensions and so forth to me.

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

This is a bit unfair. Despite the fact that the Oni's second form is poison immune, they continue to take poison damage if they were poisoned before they become a ghost. Those posion bows are really starting to annoy me.

:hide:

AdmiralZhao February 9th, 2010 01:42 AM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

It makes sense when you think about it. When an Oni changes into spirit form, any poison in its system changes to spirit-poison, which naturally they are not immune to.

I think we need to do something about Marverni catching up to me in reasearch. The Oni have been feeling rather sub-par lately, since a Sauromatian archer only needs to sneeze on the other side of the battlefield to cause naby of my troops to die of poison. This has not been all that good for my Oni's self esteem. The only thing that has kept them going is the knowledge that they are leading in research. If Marverni pulls ahead in research, then I am afraid I will have a lot of suicidal Oni on my hands.

kianduatha February 11th, 2010 02:26 AM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

Surprisingly enough, I'm fine with that. Just suicide them in Marverni's direction, please.

R'lyeh's end

Hello,

Since I'm using some holidays to go in a place without internet, I would like to pause the game until friday the 19th. In fact I don't exactly mean it. R'lyeh is in a very bad shape and will be eaten in few turns by Oceania.

Therefore it's really up to you!

If you're ready to wait 1 week for the next turn, I'm ready to finish the game and to play until the complete death of R'lyeh's spawns.

If you don't think it worth it then I would understand and won't complain. I think though that asking for a sub would be inappropriate, unless if someone wants to have fun trying their best to slow down a bit Oceania.

I repeat, it's up to you. I'm really ready to follow any option.

ps: I leave saturday.

Whatever Marverni did to anyone? It's a big world my friends. There is enough dom for everyone. Marverni druids are peaceful and are happy to do nothing but study day and night ... unless disturbed!

In other news: we are selling all kinds of items. Prices slightly above cost!

Argatha is also offering dwarven hammers for sale. While our smith's lack of depth perception might make for somewhat shoddy hammers, they are at least cheaper as our workers don't need to eat and so can be paid less.

Hi Folks,

I'm subbing for Ryleh for a few turns while Eresseil3 is away. It's just temporary, but I'd like it if folks could let me know any diplomatic agreements. I didn't get a chance to talk to Eresseil3 before he went away.

Oh and I think it's clear Ryleh is fighting Oceania :)

Cheers,
Maer

...um sure. You can have all the water provinces surrounding my area. You just might need to take it from Oceania first.

AdmiralZhao February 20th, 2010 12:59 PM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

Well, dang. Helheim just broke their NAP3 in order to launch a surprise attack against the noble Argathan people. Which I wouldn't mind so much, except that at one point or another *every* single neighbor of Argatha, with the sole exception of Caelum, has decided that it would be a great idea to attack us. Of course, they have all regretted their decision in time, after facing our fierce armies and ingenious strategies. Soon Helheim will feel the same regrets. But in the meantime, if anyone wants to take some of Helheim's land while their attention and armies are elsewhere, feel free. :) And don't let any pesky treaties you have with Helheim stop you. Those treaties will not stop Helheim from using stealth and cloud trapeze to launch a massive surprise attack on you when the time comes.

militarist February 20th, 2010 06:21 PM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

Everybody around Agartha sick and tired from it's neverending lies. As for Helheim - the NAP was signed with a condition about Agartha not only forgot, but willingly refused to do it,pushing Helheim into hopeless war we had no chance to win. So Agartha canceled this treaty far before we found enough forces to punish it for it's cruelty.

Helheims respects any agreements and always plays gentlemen approach. Unfortunately it can not be said about all.

It is also lie that Agartha is in war with Vanheim,Hinnom and Panagea..Agartha has overgrown it's ability to manage itself, made too many enemies by it's aggression an cruelty. But with the help of bribery and threats, it keeps peace with all of them for many turns. They are in peace many turns, and Helheim made it's decision basing on our understanding that together with Fomoria we will be a good match against Agartha, who has more then 1100 troops in the territories we see. Of course, Agartha's diplomats want to convince us that war Agarha against Fomoria 1:1 is a better much...It's funny to hear after reviewing nations graphs.

In terms of income, fortresses, gems, research Agartha is far ahead of both of us taken together.

So, this move was heroic rather then immoral. And God save Helheim and Fomoria in this holy war against local tyrant!

Though even 2 of us have very illusion chance to win. And if Agatha will win, nobody will feel safe in this world. I call for all brave nations to join our crusade, and help this world to get rid of the plague of Agartha!

Agusti February 22nd, 2010 04:54 AM

Re: New EA Rich game, Eden (Game On)

Please, Fomoria needs a 5 o 6 hours extension for this turn. Is it possible? I've been out of home from the last 12 hours and now i'm in work.

Thanks in advance.
