Mmm valuable lesson - provinces with Dark Vines and Bloodhenge Druids are not as much of pushovers as light infantry and militia. Getting owned by indies = fail.

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

I will not be there from tomorrow morning to... probably monday night (going to a friend's wedding). Could you extend ?

Bullock September 23rd, 2011 02:21 PM

I'm back, and done my turn...

I got a stale turn...

Bullock September 26th, 2011 04:31 PM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

How is that possible ? You ve played your turn 7 right ?

kasnavada September 27th, 2011 03:17 PM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

I did not play turn 7, I did turn 6 which you extended and then played.

No big problem however given the position I'm currently in.:)

I assume ULM wont stall because he just posted. Not many minutes to go, however.

Wooooow... Evil Tien Chi just threw his uncivilized horse hordes upon me without any consultation, warning or possibility to yield.

Errr... yeah.

I don't get what you mean though.

Same thing here !

He get a very bad starting point, so i guess he s going "all in" :)

That s why i don't like much maps with borders.

Huitochka September 29th, 2011 03:03 AM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

No starting position is an excuse to attack two nations at once, unless you really can do it. Borders ftw!

Hate you Bullock - you got the best starting position.

Any1 interested to trade Gold or D gems for my W gems ?

Anaconda October 2nd, 2011 03:07 PM

Tien Chi is suffering bad for his HORRIbad decision to launch attack simultaneously on two nations. When I am done with him there will be a banquet for crows.

Ahhhh, our barbarian king pushed my almost-successfull summer offensive back. I was already at his gates.

Here at foreign policy's round table and under the eyes of other world leaders I offer a (hydra's) tentacle of peace: Let us agree that we can have what ever we hold after this incoming host and then we will bury our war axes (and you your war cavalries)?

Do we have an agreenment?

Please sign with your blood - if theres any in you veins...

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

Didn't we originally have a 36hr turn limit? And now it's down to 24? In any case, I would appreciate some extended time for the next week, as I am extremely busy throughout with school and other commitments. I will try to get my turns in within the 24hr limit but could you please make it 48 just so that I don't get a stale if I'm unable to make it on? Or turn off autohosting and just wait for my submission? I doubt I would be longer than 48 hrs. Also, I might not be able to get on Friday/Saturday at all, so if you could extend the turn at that time through the weekend I would also appreciate that. Thanks and sorry for the difficulty! I'll be free and clear for a bit after all this.

Sorry I staled out, I played the turn but forgot to send it in. Any rate, had a crazy weekend, hordes of family in town, should be able to give the game the consideration it deserves now.

Man and Atlantis came upon my friendly Lizards with such furious force, that I fear I will be banished soon. :(
I hope you regret your cruel aggressions and will get crushed by whatever nation deems itself fair and just.

Tread not lightly against the people of the horse, ye serpent worshipers! 'Twas only luck that saved your false god from tasting death yet again.

All others, I beseech ye to join the crusade against the foul legions of the dead shambling forth from the south-eastern wastes. Else, I fear the rotting hordes shall swallow the world 'ere long.

Bullock October 4th, 2011 04:44 AM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

We are a friendly nation happy with the few lands we grab with no desire to expend further. We are seeking and wishing peace to everyone !

Well I didn't need that first time extension but it appears that Bogarus did...maybe he ran into trouble with the server.

Can I make that sad assumption that we will not have peace?
The negotiations are still open from my side. Riikka, the snake goddess is as mercifull as is she beautifull. The fields burning in the east are not next to MY citadel, dear Sir, I would like to remind you - so might want to reconsider.

Hey Bogarus can you keep us posted ?

Bullock October 6th, 2011 08:04 AM

I think if we have no answer from him after he has stalled this turn, i ll look for a sub or turn him AI.

Anaconda October 6th, 2011 08:56 AM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

I believe OSSA walked over him irreversably so theres no need for sub?

With our mighty swords and unquenchable spirit, the warriors of Jomon will put the troubled spirits of Ermor to rest. They can take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!
Unless, of course, they cast raise dead on our corpses, then they'll have taken our lives and our freedom. Hmm.

Bullock October 6th, 2011 09:41 PM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

We were only planning to remain peacefully on the few lands we manage to grab from indis. But if some1 want to help Ermor legions to get bigger he is welcome !

Btw we are wishing peace to everybody, even Jomon if he withdraws from our lands.

Ermor

Bogarus is AI from now on.
If you want to leave the game at least post something here plz.

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

Know that Marignon did not intend to go to war with Bogarus. We were forced to attack him after he demanded that we hand over one of our provinces and a certain amount of gold or gems to avoid war.

Jiggymike October 8th, 2011 05:56 PM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

The foul beasts of C'tis are all but vanquished. Though more civilized than expected, the nation of Man still felt it was a necessity to eliminate them along with our ally in the fish-people of Atlantis. They fought valiantly and pushed back against our lines but our mages made the difference and the lizards were scattered into our various provinces, where the stragglers were slaughtered. Their bravery will be remembered, and those killed by lightning will be eaten at a great feast.

FYI I'm back on schedule and can do 36 hr turns.

Wow i got a weird bug ... at turn 21 all my troops disappeared !

D'oh! What were the victory conditions? First to score a kill?

Bullock October 11th, 2011 02:24 PM

Re: Dreadful fates - LA - (Running)

Well for the little story here is what happened... i guess.
When i ve done the settings for this game, just before starting the game, i decide to set 1VP per cap so everyone knows the starting location of everybody. I think when i ve activated this option it has set also a default condition victory to capture VPs. Actually the winning was set to 2VP.

Again my full apologies for this ugly mistake which happened just when the game starting to get interesting.

I will start soon another thread with similar parameters.

Btw i still have one slot free in a towermap style game if any1 want.

Lol, won my first mp game.
Just got huge gem income and it is game over:(((

PS I don't know how C'tis could defend atlantis rush - wolven winter is really broken spell in this situation.
