Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
I hate to do this, I was really hoping to do my turn this afternoon. This weekend is crazy and I really can't sit down at my computer for 2 days at least. Sorry.

Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Alright np.
Postponed for 48h |
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
I've sent my turn a few times last night and today. No message about a problem with it, just no turn in. Bullock - the server accepted a command to postpone the turn in my other game - Blood&Honey.
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
well i tried to postponed the turn yesterday but despite the fact my request is in the admin log, nothing happened so i staled :(
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
This was clearly a server issue, and I wouldn't have a problem with rolling back. I haven't looked at the turn yet, since I figured it was something like that.
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
i heard they were many issues with this, so i never tried.
But considering the game situation it s a good opportunity to try. i hope the game wont crash :) |
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
i tried to roll & will have a look to the turn asap.
Mockin don't forget to delete your file before playing this turn since you had already submited your turn. |
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Hang on, let me get this straight: We are actually doing a rollback where eveyone is supposed to redo their turns after seeing the results of what everyone did last time, is that right?
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
honestly i didnt watch the turn. So you can send the 2H as it was or replay your turn.
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
I never looked at my turn, and did not try to send a revised turn in. Am I seeing llamaserver correctly right now? Did we host overnight and now I'm gonna stale? Or is this the turn where mine is in memory and we haven't hosted since the rollback? I'm on my brother-in-law's laptop and won't have access to the game today. I thought we had 72hrs between turns.

Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
If you roll back a turn, the Llamaserver keeps the turns that were submitted the first time. (Even though it doesn't show in the 'who submitted' page.) So if you do send in a new turn it uses that one, but if you don't it will just use the old one.

Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Yeah, I thought so. I was away and was surprised I was the only outstanding turn. When I got back to the game I saw the turn #s were ok.
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Bullock, could you add about 24h to the timer? (I hope you see this in time.) I went home to my folks to visit my sister in hospital. (They live close to each other. Will spend the night since tomorrow is my day off work anyway.

Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Sure, it has be done in time.
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
i postponed for 72h hoping nothing bad happened...
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Oy! It's me we were waiting for. :o
I was sure I had already submitting my turn*, didn't pay much attention to the delay figuring the turn would show up eventually. Sowwy. :o Turn is in now. * I didn't. Checked my e-mail server, and it's totally my fault, not any technical problem. |
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Damn, you decided to stop pussyfooting around didn't you? :)

Thanks Mockin' for playing til the end. As always it was a pleasure to face you. Got to say that i'm pretty proud to have managed vanquishing you without allies like i'm used to do :) However i admit that my starting position was more comfortable, and i was in peace all game long until i attacked you, not like you. Alright 2 left then ! Don't forget that i'm willing to accept your surrender, which could avoid a lot of suffering to your pretender. ;) |

Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Nah, no sense prolonging it. My mobility and income are gone. You may never get my cap, but you don't need to, and my offensive capabilities are shredded. Good game Bullock! And Amhazair, thanks for subbing and dashing my dreams of glory and such. I had a bad start, and that bubble in mid-game looked scarier than it was. Oh well ...
|
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
Nice job Bullock. Beyond the first couple of turns of our war, it seemed like every move I made was the wrong one. Which is to your credit.
In retrospect a NAP would have been a good idea, but it seemed so boring. :) |
Re: Dead shores - EA - (Running)
In that case i'm closing the game.
Thanks everyone for such a nice game. Hope to see you soon on the field :) |
Re: Dead shores - EA Maverni - Bullock Winner !
I wouldn't mind hearing a very brief AAR about the game from various perspectives.
|
Re: Dead shores - EA Maverni - Bullock Winner !
has it started ?
