Ha! We're sure we will not find any more of these bandits of yours on the turn the NAP actually ends.

Our intentions are not at all selfish. Seeing how the warlike Yomi terrorize their peaceful neightbours, we were given no chance but to intervene! The liberation of Yomi's lands will bring peace and prosperity while at the same ending a regime that clearly is motivated by greed and megalomania.

Additionally, we will accept your apology in the form of 1000gp, the head of the bandit in question and your daughter.

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

I'm a bit confused by this NAP thing. I canceled my NAP with Yomi with an ingame message with arrived on turn 17 i guess. It was a NAP + 3, so i assumed it would would end on turn 20 (attack orders allowed on turn 20, solving on turn 21). Now i was attack on turn 20, which, in my opinion, is a turn too early (again). I might be wrong on this, since i've always just assumed that signing a NAP has a builtin "safetime" of 1 round, meaning that i can't attack on the same turn i cancel the deal. Which would mean, that a NAP + 3 grants three turns of peace after it has been canceled.

So am i right or wrong? It's a bit confusing!

Let it be known that Ossa of Helheim is not a honorable leader! An army of his attacked Yomi lands without warning, despite our Peace Pact. All be warned not to sign any treaties with this black hearted renegade!

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

Hurmio- I've had the same issue with NAPs in the past, and I think that they can legitimately be interpreted either way depending on your point of view. As a result, whenever I break a NAP (or have one broken by the other party), I send a message stipulating on which subsequent turns attack orders may be given, and when hostilities may ensue. This eliminates any chance for misinterpretation, deliberate or otherwise.

As I've effectively been knocked out of this game, it's probably best if someone else takes over the admin duties from me. Please PM me for the game's password on Llamaserver if you are willing to step up.

I have the current turn (28) in but would need an extension (24 h) for the next one, thanks.

I could take a stab at adminning from here, rev. Thanks for stepping up in the first place. I'll pm you with my info.

PM with admin info sent to Stagger Lee.

Have fun!

12hrs to go and 3 turns still out. Just to test my new admin powers, and to ensure that my first game turn as admin isn't a mass stale, I've added 24hrs. Quickhost is still on, so get those turns in.

Also, as next turn is #30, I think we should move to 48hr hosting. Any objections?

48h hosting sounds good to me.

I for one welcome my staggering overlord.

48 hour turns sound good for me.

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

Damn! I thought I had 12 more hours.

I'm going away for the weekend coming and won't be able to play, so I will add some time before I go and hope I don't stale again.

Stagger Lee May 29th, 2012 03:54 PM

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

OK - I screwed that up. I meant to add time. I'm back now, but I have no power at home. I have limited access at work, and will check and extend if there are no objections. hopefully have power back soon. ugh.

Hurmio May 30th, 2012 03:13 PM

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

Could i get a 24h extension? I just realized that i don't have to play the turn as i'm going for a short vacation tomorrow.

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

Done. And power is back on, and all seems normal again.

I've postponed 48hrs. Sorry, but my dad's birthday party with 100+ guests (40 of 'em kids ) is taking up some time.

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

I'll be away for the midsummer's eve. I will send in my current turn, but i won't be able to play the next one before sunday evening (GMT). So i'm asking a extension for the turn after the current one.

Llamaserver seems to be down. I've sent in mu turn, but nothing happens. Sent it thrice to be sure. Anyway, should it come back up without accepting my file, please delay until i can resend. Off to bed now.

I was afraid I made Llama's ignore list. Same happened to me in a different game. Will try to keep anyone from staling.

I was able to extend the turn 48hrs. Hope that;s enough! :)

Llama must be on it! Your turn got in and we hosted. Added another 48hrs.

Re: Blood and Honey- new game for experienced players (running)

Sorry guys, but ever since I heard Calahan was banned, I've been too sick to do my turns, go to work, properly attend my admin duties, or even change my soiled undergarments!

(Added 48hrs because I really was sick and slept through sending in my turn and now I really need to do laundry, and tomorrow's a holiday ...)

I am going on travel tomorrow through Tuesday PST and will likely have only intermittent internet connectivity.

I will likely need some delays for my turns. Thank you for your patience.

I don't think your vacation will affect the game much even if you don't turn in your files. I'm sure your ember lords and grendelkin will hold the line just fine! :D

OK, I'll watch the timer. Now might be a good time to discuss moving us to 72hr hosting, too. Any objections?

I don't mind 72h. In fact, I would need 6 h extra on the current turn anyway.

Added 12hrs. Blackout hit last night as I was doing turn. Should be able to redo and send in after work.

Mockingbird, are you having problems? I was wondering why all my armies didn't get slaughtered as usual and then noticed that you staled the last turn.

Travel + food poisoning + tons of work = bad dominions.

Sorry!

I'll should be able to submit the next turn in time.
