Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Ghoul, you are my hero! thanks. (A bit late).
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Just wanted to say, the previous remark was made before I looked at the turn. And I had not seen the attack by ghoul yet. Good move. :D
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Wow, Boulder throwers are OP. four of them got 20+ of my mages killed. (stupid, AI. Ow, the enemy is retreating, lets cast more spells so our communion slaves die).
Sorry about that ghoul, that must hurt. 5250 gold in mages, 2500 gold worth of troops, and at least 250 gems. |

Although, couldn't have been more than 200 gems at the most. |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
15 gems gear on each nief, 90 winter wolves.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I'm not sure I can make the timer tomorrow could I get a 24h extension?
|
Lesson time, invading Lanka, is ALWAYS costly, even when they have a gimmick build.
I did like we had a prophet vs prophet Ettin fight. Mine won of course, having the home team advantage. And me killing all that Zmey is going to make it easy for people to conquer you TC. I think Ghoul might win this one, if he grabs the initiative. |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
All the dead were merely grains of sand in the vast desert that is the Divine Emperor's army.
That said, we will now withdraw and be as the turtle. Just watch. |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I'm gonna have to ask for an extension. I'm away till 12 august at the shortest. Sorry about that, a wild vacation opportunity appeared.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
You should find a sub if you are going to be gone that long.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I took a look at the scores and with two forts/provinces but a pile of troops it appears that Lanka is in an extended last stand situation. Won't be easy to take out but not contending for the win. If so, I could sub in order to keep the game moving. But if Soy has some finely-tuned master plan to still win this thing then it would probably be better for him to manage that.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I don't really have any real master plan. I was using a gimmick build anyway and failed horribly. I do have a few minor plans that I wanted to try. If you want, I could tell you those, and you could give the orders and press end turn for me ;).
Imho, the winner is fairly clear now. And also the way Lanka is going to die. |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Sure, send over instructions and I'll follow them. I can save the turns if you want to see how things turned out. I'll PM ghoul my email address so just let him know when you want the switch to take place.

Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I don't think ghoul has won just yet. He and sauromatia are both pretty strong, and I could ally with either one for the end game :angel

Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
TC staled last turn and their current turn is still missing with three hours until hosting.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
No worries, I missed the last hosting due to work and the fact that the 12h notification came in at night. I'll have this turn in before hosting.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Ok, good. Just wanted to make sure you had a chance to respond to my (not very significant) attacks against you. ;)
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
That's considerate, thank you! Now, I will crush you like a bug :D
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
hmm, your unfrozen warriors with 11 attack rating have no problem hitting ethereal beings with 25 defense and 18 protection. go figure
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Now what was I thinking bringing loaded ettins against blood. Well, at least I recovered a lot of the gear..

I think my dumbest move was forgetting to cast arrow fend. I also was going to cast storm but then realized Evo. 5 wasn't yet researched. Really should have paid more attention to what was being researched. On the plus side, I've saved Soy from having to take over the position when he returns from vacation since this will be Lanka's last turn. :p Edit: I didn't forget to cast arrow fend; it wasn't researched yet. |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Well, I suppose it was :) My heart just weeps at the unnecessary bloodshed.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I'm back.
Wow, I'm dead? WORST SUB EVAH! (No, thanks for subbing. it was a last stand situation anyway). Lets, see, my strategy for this game was to rush daikini, got them I think around 6 of them in year 2. But then I kinda ****ed up, while my plan always was to rush teleport those daikini onto somebody, I shouldn't have attacked. Looking at the game situation, TC was just in a too strong position. I should have just kept blood hunting and summoning more daikini + other stuff. But it was just to tempting. A well. Thanks for playing everybody! |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
I think you were right to attack me, as I would have attacked you in around five turns or so. You nearly pulled it off, too, because you wiped out my gem income, and then I lost most of what I had left when that stupid djinn got his *** killed in his first battle.
I rushed research to const8, just to give it a go, and having no good summons nearly did for me. If Mictlan hadn't propped me up with gems, I think you would have had me. Thanks for playing, it was an interesting situation to find myself with no provinces one turn. |
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Well, you might have been able to rush TC if Niefel hadn't invaded you. Nice job on the defense, I guess the take-away lesson is to rush Soy early like Mictlan suggested.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
Well, in this build I should have been rushed. Normally, rushing Lanka is one of those bad ideas. The sacreds with a good bless kill.
I think you need to attack them just when you enter the midgame, before they get the blood summons, thunder strike, communions, mistform etc. Raiding a lot also helps. You need the gold for mages and the mages for blood slaves as Lanka. |

I was joking. I was dead already. The only thing doable was the amount of other guys that could be taken with them. Thanks again for taking over.

I think Sauromatia has the game in the bag. I don't mind playing on if either of you want, but I wouldn't mind calling it either.

Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
lets keep playing
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
All right, no problem.
|
Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
ok, we can end this now

Re: Integrity2- EA game: Running
NERF ZMEYS is a merciful god, and will graciously accept your surrender in return for acknowledgment of his divinity. Our theologians should be able to find a place in our cosmology for the surviving pretenders that recognizes their power without eclipsing the acsension of the one true god, NERF ZMEYS.
