Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
"Tratorix - Sauromatia" has stalled atleast 2 turns in a row now, and is on his way to stall a 3rd time. Perhaps it is time to set this nation to AI if none wishes to take over ?.
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Calm yourself, i've got 10 hours left, I'll get it done once I get home.
Edit: I also only staled once, btw. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
... and once again you have started stalling most turns...:(
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Sorry about that. Won't be a problem in a turn or two though, cuz I'll be dead.
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Good Game Man!
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
I guess from here, we won't blame you for turning AI Tratorix.
Thx for participating :) |

I set my remaining 3 provinces AI. Not much point in continuing after losing my capital. GG to the nation that killed me and good luck to everyone else. :)

|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Who is the winner?
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Yay! I won!
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Ha wrong, it was me, me! Its all about meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Well i feel i can challenge pangaea, but not alone.
So if Ghoul & Ossa want to give up, i ll bow. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running

My diplomacy alarm is ringing!
|
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Yeah, have to say this breaks the diplomacy rules.
Nothing more than a blatant attempt to rally support. Ghoul said the game was over, but now he has possible allies he will keep going. |

So I don't think I revealed anything. You are just trying to start trouble for no reason. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Yeah Ghoul, I am well know on the forums for being a trouble maker.
The rules were very clear, no diplomacy. Your comment only served to kick others into motion to fight Marverni, clearly in breach of the rules of the game. If I am making trouble, its only in response to the trouble you created. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
That's it! I'm changing sides! (again)

And its Bullocks game so its up to him to decide who broke the rules, not you. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
So, if Bullcock says you broke the rules, then I am right, if he doesn't, then I am wrong.
You are a very smart man Ghoul. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
What i find even more amusing is that i have been at war with Marverni since like turn 6 and fighting him non stop. We have had a great tussle which he has won of course, but i have never stopped fighting him tooth and nail causing him some serious losses (until now that is, because i will send what small force I have left elsewhere, anyone want to guess where?).
You Ghoul have bordered him also since the start of the game, but I believe NEVER attacked him. If he was such a threat according to you by looking at the charts, then way haven't you attacked him before hand? No, you decided to go public with a cry 'the game is over" read between the lines, 'everybody needs to attack Marverni now". I just kept fighting him on my own waiting for others to see the danger and join in, but oh no, no one came. Thats their own fault, including you Mr I am never wrong, Ghoul, who decides that instead of shutting up, and funnily enough, putting your money where you big mouth is, and just attack marverni, wait till you have gathered support by illegal posts on the forum calling for everyone to dog pile marverni. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Marverni is the big threat we should all dogpile ? Really ? Actually I think Ghoul were talking about Pangea (me). We had a great battle with lots of nifeljarls and crazy spells. In the end the sleap clouds made the giants fatigue out and he lost a lot of units. Fun fight however.
About quitting the game I am fine either way. My position is most likely winning, and I am enjoying the game. The micromanagement of having so many troops is starting to take its toll in time however. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
I think the game was/is far from over, my mistake saying it was Marverni Ghoul was complaining about.
I am almost out and Marverni is quite strong and he could challenge you given support, but as this game is a no diplomacy game, difficult to orchestrate. The game continuing has been ruined IMHO by Ghoul publicly stating it was over then later saying he will play on. Basically the rules have been broken in an unfair way by spotlighting a single target for everyone. This game has highlighted the problem of having no diplomacy, as marverni and I got into each other early with no way to stop the war. Marverni I am sure thought he would have overrun me long ago and been able to turn his attention towards Pan, but I have managed to hold on for a long time frustrating any attempt to attack Pan earlier. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Yes I was surprised how long you have held out against Marvereni (it made my decision to attack Abysia easier).
If we continue to play I suggest we all play "as if" we did not have this discussion. |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
I am happy to play to on to my death as always.....thats my reputation.
Someone else in this game, not mentioning anyones name (cough cough) has a reputation that as soon as he can't win tends to go AI accompanied with some farewell comment like "Gath are totally useless under CBM". |
Re: Silence is golden - Vets & intermediates - Running
Alright guys. Some good points have been made.
Obviously the "no diplo" rule has been broken, which is a good reason to stop the game there. (and maybe to avoid some drama ? :) ) I think the outcome won't change anyway, the victory of pangaea sounds pretty obvious. Especially considering the low resistance he has met from what i saw. So the game is officially close, congratz to Evihomer who did very well. Special thanks to my main opponent on this one, hooley ! I really enjoyed our struggle and appreciate you fought 'til the end. Thanks for the good behavior of every1, i hope to see you again on the field. |
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
Grats evil, you did very well.
Thanks Bullock, what a great struggle, early on I thought I had you but amazing economy you had in producing those Knights of yours. The bad luck didn't seem too damaging to you. You played very well I have to say and its a pity you didn't get to go the distance. HD |
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
Pangaea has such a big lead, that there is no way he can lose
But I guess in a no diplomacy game we have to wait until he takes every single province in the game. we aren't allowed to end it before then. So now I know. |
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
Snark aside, ghoul does raise an interesting point, how do you end no diplo games before they start to become a grind without breaking the non diplo rule?
|
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
The issue is or was, Ghoul said game is over then 5 minutes later after another post by someone else, game is on.
So what is it? Game over or game on? Apparently you are allowed to have your cake and eat it too. No diplomacy certainly has its issues, I have already said/admitted that, but if the game was over, why change your tune to game on after rallying. support in a no diplomacy game? |
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!

So according to you, there can never be an end to a no diplomacy game. |
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
No diplo games need clear victory conditions, without those you enter this paradox of not being able to end the game without breaking the rules or playing until everyone is totally annihilated.
I have never seen a no diplo game without explicit victory conditions before, so it's interesting to see from this example that it is practically doomed to end with someone breaking the rules. In other words even if ghoul had not done so someone would have broken the no diplo rule sooner or later, since a mp game played to the absolute end with total annihilation is practically unheard of. Sorry for commenting on a game I'm not in, and even was denied a place in, but it's quite interesting and a good lesson to learn. |
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
Yay for Evil Homer! Good game man! I want to know your s3Kr3tz!
|
Re: Silence is golden - EA Pangaea - EvilHomer Winner !!
Thanks! hope all had fun playing. :)
