Sluagh, you are the admin of this game. You should notice when players begin to stall and other players scavenge their empire. Set the game to pause a find a sub for Pan or the game is over or find out if Pan is going to be back in a reasonable amount of time. Last 3 turns were stalled - played - stalled.

Agreed. 2 out of 3 turns with no activity as the hosting looms calls for a hold. Managing castles full of hoards of nekked, starving (but remarkably healthy) women need a steady hand.

on llamaserver, check the game. Then check admin options, then stalling data.

When you post for a sub I can arrange a siege free start if that helps sell the spot. That worked well in the last game where this happened.

Yup. Open a new thread in this (multiplayer and aar) section with a title like "sub needed for Pan in urrapp... " and briefly explain the need and situation. There are some examples in the last few days. Also there are other forums to post on (don't have the links with me)

Not looking good for a sub. There are a couple options. None great.

1. Pan AI
2 Pan "deadzone" ( leave as a Pan as staling player but their provs are off limits)
3. ?
4. Keep looking

Well its hardly fair to the work you have done in bringing Pan to his knees to make it a dead zone.

I say turn him AI and go on for what promises to be a very short rest of the game.

Hm. I think we can agree that the game can continue now. I would Pan to AI and ask that maye sans doesnt play it too agressive on Pan.

Yup, that will slow sans down a lot.

He can then commit 99% of his 49 provinces against my 9 and after I am finished go and finish Pan of bringing his total province count to 61 with the next closest at 24.....lol. Actually its more like 8 provinces for me as rain of toads has closed down my capital.

How do I know he can commit 99% of his forces against me, because I KNOW I am the only non AI player fighting him.

Then once I and Pan are conquered, I estimate, 10 turns max, he can pick off any single nation he likes.

Meanwhile you guys enjoy your petty fights whilst they last, which won't be too long after my nation is conquered.

Oh and with Pan AI, who is to say it doesn't decide to send its chaff against another player other than Sans....had that happen in another game recently. That will make his forth coming victory even swifter.

I have already promised Sans I will fight him to the end, as I always do (unlike some), but just before my death I'll bequeath him my gems and magic items....which includes, both Hammers, Sickle Crop, Konhells Tome, Tome of Gia, Chalice and many other delights.

Okay, I have no problem setting Pan to AI, but I'm relatively far removed from the struggle so I've been hesitating to weigh in directly.

Is anyone really really against this, to the point where it would ruin their gaming experience?

Yeah my big stumbling block in trying to be 1/2 decent in Dom 3 is overcoming my natural tendency to like SC's and Artifacts. I have never been into spell casting that much.

I am still not there yet, but getting better.

Heh, personally I fear SCs and artifacts the most. I have little idea how to counter them usually. Which is why I completely detest Helheim and their easy forging and super research.

As my list of dead thugs in the HoF will attest to... this hasn't been an issue. :hurt: Hope no scouts have witnessed Mictlan's feeble attempts to tame the Panish hoards. <sigh>...Plan "B".

Helheim has played extremely well with his uber-artifact army and raiding mitigation system. Hats off to clever and ballsy tactics! If I learn nothing else this game it is how freakishly tough blessed/lucked Helhirdings are.

Yeah San, we have had a couple of classic and close fought battles. ultimately I'll go down, already my empire is a shambles, but the fights have been epic.

Damn, I think I have won 2 battles against your thugs with just a single PD, talk about luck on an epic scale!

Anyways, would be cool if some other players could post their opinion.
According to my intel, Miclan is now raiding Caelum who unfortunally was unable to finish Aby on time. So at the very least, Aby and Caelum would have to to forfeit their differences as well.

Fomoria declared war on me 3 turns ago, didnt seem to be too smart judging by the outlash that followed.

Basicly, i have a lot of ressources i could throw at Miclan and i wager that Fomoria, if he wishes, could rally some forces too. TC would obviously be the leader. I dont know how bad it looks for Caelum and Aby.



So ppl, post now or throw away your divine right under the dominion of Miclan.
