Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Looks like we might have another stale from Abysia, he's down to 0 provinces, his last fort and under-siege at that.

EDIT: sorry if I spoke too soon Yellowcactus, just looking out...

Evilhomer November 7th, 2012 01:57 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I have PM:d YellowCactus, hopefully he will submit his turn once he has the time.

Bullock November 7th, 2012 03:56 AM

Nation of Pangea is looking for:
Robe of the Sea
Crystal Coin
Air gems
Death gems

We are willing to trade away:
Most const6 nature/earth items
Earth gems
Water gems
Fire gems
Astral gems

Pangea.

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Would be nice if the last player to submit his turn could play the next turn in a row, to speed up thing a little :)

Deadnature November 16th, 2012 09:09 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Hey, my dom3 games have been a mess recently, I've really bit off more than chew and last stale was the worst: hours of work and strategy lost because I passed out on my couch before I thought to send the turn, ahhH!

On top of that I staled in another game.

Anyways, I'm gonna need 48hrs to get this mess together and figure out what I'm going to do after that last stale.

Thanks guys and sorry for the delay.

Bullock November 16th, 2012 11:49 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Didn't see you had a stale :(
You have your 48h but stop waiting the last min to submit your turn (you can submit at least partial turns) and try to take 2 turns in a row when u r last to play.

Btw i'm wondering how much time does a turn take for each of you at this point of the game.

Evilhomer November 17th, 2012 05:27 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Takes about 1-2 hours. Luckily I have a boring monitor job at the moment, so I can play dominions while keeping half an eye on work.

Deadnature November 19th, 2012 12:27 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I'm sorry guys! I will do my turns faster, but I still need another 12-hour extension on this particular turn!

Thanks

Bullock November 19th, 2012 06:48 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

well you had your 12h and u staled...

How the other players want to manage the issue ?
Is the game screwed ?

Evilhomer November 20th, 2012 02:11 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Ermors situation is not that bad still. He lost a minor army, and he has lost quite a few commanders. Still he has several large armies standing, good income and gift of health up. So if he starts playing I still think he could put up a good fight.

Evilhomer November 20th, 2012 08:04 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Seems we are on a 72 hour hosting interval, is that intentional ?

Bullock November 20th, 2012 11:57 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

No it's not i have postponed this turn to see how we are going to handle this issue.

I'm starting to look for a sub

Evilhomer November 22nd, 2012 07:54 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

No luck finding anyone that wants to take over? Might need to set Ermor to AI unless original player shows up again.

Bullock November 22nd, 2012 01:56 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Dont lose hope i have 2 potential sub.
I'm doing my best to put the game back on track asap.

PsiSoldier November 24th, 2012 08:41 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Ok I am going to step in and help out here with Ermor. I have just submitted a turn and if it updates then everyone should receive the new turn by the time you see this.

Please inform me of any NAPs or any agreements your nation may have with ermor

PsiSoldier November 24th, 2012 09:13 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Ok... I suppose no one has to answer this but I have to ask... Do people have spies of some sort causing a crap ton of unrest in Ermor lands? I'm about to patrol them out if they do...

Unfortunately for SOME UNFATHOMABLE reason the last guy running ermor had nearly all the provinces set to 200% Tax rate and was killing all the population and causing a buttload of unrest in his own lands which makes absolutely no sense to me.. But I am taking care of that problem now..

Bullock November 24th, 2012 11:47 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

tyvm for subbing this. I'm glad we are resuming this game.

Ossa November 24th, 2012 05:04 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Bullock... I always assumed my playing skill would be in the intermed range. Thanks for showing me otherwise.

You killed my troops with clouds of death and paralysed my dozend ettins with your ~4 astral 2 mages? I though I'd be somehow secure with MR16+ against those few astral mages...

Bullock November 24th, 2012 08:16 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

That was my battle indeed ! But don't draw conclusion too fast.

I think with 16MR i have a 20-25% chance to stun your guy.
i had like 8-10 astral casters (not 4^^) so i was expecting a couple ettins freezed every turn maybe a bit less. And i think it's exactly what happened.

But i'm sure you ll get your revenge, in this game or in an other. ;)

We are entering the final step of this nice game. Would u like to increase the turn length to 48h guys ?

Bullock December 1st, 2012 02:04 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I'm also breaking my nap with Pangaea. So the fight may start turn 53 !

PsiSoldier December 1st, 2012 05:06 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I may need an extension for this turn please if that is possible. Had to work overtime today and have too much going on right now.

Bullock December 1st, 2012 06:38 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

sure its done

PsiSoldier December 1st, 2012 06:49 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Actually besides the extension I think 48 hours would be good..

PsiSoldier December 2nd, 2012 06:23 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Turn 51 and ending NAP with Pangaea fighting may begin turn 54

Bullock December 3rd, 2012 05:47 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I switch to 48h if Evilhomer is strongly against i switch back to 36

Evilhomer December 3rd, 2012 06:57 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I am fine with 48 hours.

Evilhomer December 4th, 2012 11:35 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I might need another 12 hours. I will try to get in before normal hosting time, but just in case.

np its done

Any luck finding a sub for ermor ?

Bullock December 5th, 2012 06:37 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

No nothing yet.
FYI Psisoldier had an increase of load in his work so he can hardly manage to play his turn actually.

Too bad we had so many problems with this nation (not blaming you Psi ofc) because it's a nice game.

Evilhomer December 10th, 2012 09:21 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

My turn is ready to be submitted. It would however be good to know the status of Ermor. I see he has submitted his turn, this means Psi is still playing, or do we have a sub/gone AI or what ?

Bullock December 10th, 2012 12:42 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Yeah psi did his turn. No sub yet

Bullock December 12th, 2012 03:21 PM

Darkwing is taking control of Emor, Thx to him!

Ok cool I'll try to fill him in on what I can when I get a chance

Didn't help that you originally asked for a sub for MA Ermor which I know and am completely unfamiliar with EA Ermor.. Lol

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

After a few initial hiccups, I've got the turn and am looking it over now. It's a lot to take in, though. I'll definitely want to pick your brains, PsiSoldier! :)You can expect a PM shortly. (I'll try not to take up too much of your time with questions, though.)

Evilhomer December 16th, 2012 03:22 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Uploaded my turn, just waiting for you now Bullock and then we are finally continuing with this game. I suggest we put the game on a more leisure hosting (maybe 72 h) over the cristmas holidays starting from next turn

Bullock December 16th, 2012 10:36 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

The game is resume, 72h is a good idea.

Evilhomer December 20th, 2012 03:43 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

12 h extra would be great. Advanced turn clashing with cristmas shopping.

2 more days please. Not sure if I will be able to make my turn properly, busy time of the year.

Bullock December 22nd, 2012 04:29 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

yeah no problem. Anyway i m planning to put all my game on a 10d basis with quickhost until the 2nd of January.

Darkwind December 29th, 2012 08:33 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays! I certainly did. Well, there are less than 24 hours now until the next turn (though, tomorrow is the 30th and not the 2nd). I eagerly await the beginning of the war! If nothing else, watching you beat me will be a learning experience, Evilhomer. ;) I'm on the edge of my seat to see how many provinces you can manage to take in one turn. You probably don't have to do much though - with an income like that, you could beat me just in the battle of attrition! You can recruit over twice as many Pans with your income as I can Augur Elders with mine, though upkeep obviously throws a wrench in that.

Evilhomer December 30th, 2012 08:18 AM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

Yeah I am also looking forward to the continuation of this game, even though making my turns will be alot of scripting. I am in a two front war so I will not be able to send all my pans/units your way however, so the war will probably be fairly even and interesting.

Seems the hosting has been moved to the 2nd of January however so there might be some more waiting.

Edit: Also wishing you all a happy new year!

Bullock December 31st, 2012 03:27 PM

Re: Free war - Vet & intermediate - EA - Running

i'm clearly taking my time but if i see ur turn in Evilhomer I'll hurry up ;)

Happy new year guys.
