Comwealth : I've got a doubt on this race. I've been said thaht it was the same as turians, but the preview pic sent by Andres seems different, that's why I'm looking for them.

Old usy links : I'm trying to host all the races of old usy site. did I forgot any ?

AOD : haven't found them yet.

Galactic command : according to author and to what I've seen, it's not a worthy set. I've got in project to make a full neostandard race with it, with another race portrait.

Lyoson : ZA told he was thinking of making a new Version of that old set.

Simple but hard-to-do...
There are about 300 races, and few of them have a Version info when put on the web. When I see a Version number, I usually add it as an info, but it's not the standard. Only authors could give me that info on their races, it would be far too long to check by myself.

As far as I know, only Atrocities put a compatibility information on all his races. My own race have all been made for SE IV gold, and all the races I host on SOTAS have been upgraded to gold too.

lots of races have been made before gold Version, and at this time, there was no compatibility pb, so authors were not used to put the SE Version associated to their files.

They are on PBW, but someone uploaded a different shipset with the same name. So you have to show all Versions then download turian comwealth v1. I actually think this set looks pretty cool.

I made the change in the racedir with the infos you've provided.

Juprup seems to be the same race as the spoogy shipset. Only the escort is different. Don't know which one is a copy of the other.

Keelan is a race I didn't know about, thanks for the info.

Also got your zip file, thanks. I've made the imperial available on SOTAS yesterday.

I like all the changes to the race directory. Especially the updated AI information http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif And your new shipset, the citizen federation, looks sweet!

A couple of more suggestions/bugs though:
Main Page->External Links->Kuat Drive Yards goes to the old site still.

Zanthu author not listed: Readme says Darkshado and has email but not his real name if that is what you are looking for.

Still unzipping all these races you made me download, though! Thanks for taking the Race Directory baton.

Good question, and one that probably deserves its own thread. I'm afraid I can't give you a particularly good answer.

I can tell you that the amount of work will vary hugely from mod to mod, and that in some cases it is possible to run a small patching program to make an AI compatible. To make it compatible and competitive in most mods will require considerably more work again.

Trooper:

BOB is BOB. The name "Galtenn Alliance" was a name for an empire I was using for a PBW game that I uploaded an earlier Version of BOB under.

It's an error. BOB is BOB. Please fix it right away.

Also, the Sol Coalition (new) is actually Old, Outdated, Defunct, and Obsolete. Please remove the link and entry.

Now with all that settled,

Cuckleheed and Bob shipsets are available on SOTAS. Bob preview page uses Andres'new race viewer format.

There are two Versions of the cytherian race. The one on USY could be a beta or something as the weapons platforms don't look as well done. I have a Version off SE.org and it's more brown! Thats the one listed in the Race Directory, but it links to the CytherianPeuan race which is more white.

If you download the one off USY it has different race folder and is a different colour to the one i have posted, i think there should be two seperate entries for these and maybe you could host the one i have posted

Hi everyone.

As trooper knows I have been building up one site to hold every known race. On Friday 240 ships will be available for download from one location. ( All zipped with no preview , do not have the space , to see the complete ship preview you will have to travel to the authors orginial site or SOTAS ) A SEIV Shipset mirror site is my goal.

This site will also be a image mod mirror and a mod mirror site for any mods that need hosted. Basically if its a file and its associated with seiv. Well its going to be there for downloading.
And for those who would like to toss some stuff up but do not have the website. Well thats available as well.

It is my way of saying thankyou to everyone.

Updated the revised Addisian to 1.9, I also made the Star Empire of Romii a Gold race (finally), with drones, updated construction queues and such.
I wrote a brand new AI for the Infernal Realm that was using an ugly stock one.

So the Updated races were:

Addisian 1.9
Infernal Realm 1.1
Star Empire of Romii 2.2
