Well, I don't know if I should be telling you all this, but I guess it won't hurt... I got a message Last night saying that I'm in! Yeah, go ahead and bug me, I still don't know anything yet - I still don't have access to the beta forum! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif All I know is that I'll have to sign an NDA, and the specific month the game should be released. (I'd tell you but just in case that's a secret, you know?)

I got a reject message that was only addressed to 5 people. I found that odd too.

Oh well, now to go drown my sorrows in a book. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif But really I'm not that upset about it. Lately my life has been hectic so I wouldn't have had as much time as I origionally thought I would've had. So it all works out.

Maybe whoever's hosting malfador.com has some sort of spam filter that prevents Messages from being sent to more than 5 addresses at a time...

Or maybe he didn't want one beta tester blowing the surprise by posting the entire list of testers on the Boards http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif that wouldn't explain why the rejected applicants got Messages in batches of 5...

as for the 5 batches, it is most likely that Aaron chose a couple of people he knew and then went by fives - five yes, five no, five yes....
