vfb, the way you talk about machaka is really annoying. Nothing you say can be taken literally. Put some intelligence into your "in-character" speech. You know, no one likes to get beat down by an idiot, so please don't sound like one. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/yawn.gif

Luckily, I won't be responding to this thread in a few more turns.

Apologies for annoying the lost remnants of the crumbled Machakan empire. Our warning was not directed at you. The swamps in the north are held by Ulm, and our task force is being sent (uninvited) into their lands to assist them in investigating the possibility of infestations there.

(ooc: Even when I'm playing an aggressive nation, I like to spread a little political propaganda to justify the actions of my armies. It's more fun for me that way. Even when my propaganda is obviously a totally bogus and ridiculous excuse for invading another nation. And when I'm launching an attack on a nation I haven't been at war with, I like to give at least some warning, even if it is slightly cryptic. Argitoth, if you don't like it, you don't have to listen to it. Please feel free to ignore me.)

Oh, if there was a way to ignore people... well there just isn't. God created us all with ears and eyes for a reason. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/yawn.gif

Alright, an unexpected event of a mandragora army took my last province. Lol

Shin & stuff

Well, that looks like about it for Shinuyama. They never had much of a chance, really, against the combined forces of Tien Chi and Ermor. Good game Shin.

But what is this we see on our southern border? Abysia is massing troops there? I sincerely hope our good friends from Abysia are not contemplating a strike against Ermor. After all, we have an NAP, and have had nothing but good relations with the magma men. That said, our southern border is well defended, and can be re-enforced quite quickly.

Dear Lord of Ermor

Abysia honors all his contracts and we are well aware that we have a NAP with you. We have to station our troops somewhere and as long as it is not in Ermorian territory we feel free to do that where ever we like. As a side note: Our main forces are not on the border, Ermor began to mass troops on its south and was talking about going AI so we were a bit concerned.
At the moment we are at war with the biggest threat to this world: Caelum. And instead of being praised for our valor we are accused of evil intents. We are a bit disappointed.

Abysia

I understand your concern if you thought I was going AI. I had contemplated it, but the game seems stable enough, so I will stay in.

All hail Abysia for taking on Caelum, and good luck.

Hooray! We hail Ermor back!

Btw: When I checked, I saw that there is really a rather big bunch of my people crowding your border. But it's that free milita stuff that I seem to draw like a lich the flies. It's not easy to be so popular.

Abysia

Biggest threat? Caelum??? No, I think Abysia attacked the "new guy" thus making a Rumsfeldian level error in strategery. The Underwater troops from Abysia are sticking their necks into the noose being held by Jotunheim. Caelum will soon pull the lever and the floor will drop out from under the webbed feet of your armies of underwater lackeys.

Jotunheim thinks they are smart, giving you the coastal provinces so you can bear the brunt of Caelum's counteroffensive. But I think Abysia will soon tire of the mounting losses and humiliation of being a servant of Jotunheim's ambitions.

Militia?? Hey, send them across the border. We can always use more zombie chaff.
