Re: Aquarium - MA game - PBEM - 10-15 player

A new hero has risen in north to avenge the death of the great Raterik. No one knows where he came from, he is shrouded in mystery and he cannot be seen by unworthy mortal eyes. He shall be known as Raterik's Ghost to his enemies, may they fear him and stand in awe at his presence.
He is accompanied by an entourage of loyal ghostly followers and rides a ghostly steed.
Surely this great hero from beyond will bring pride to the nation of Ulm.

It's like waiting for the sequel to a movie - you start to forget what's happening by the time it comes out. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Are we on 48h quickhost? It's nice to give the buffer if people need it, but equally nice if we can keep the pace up on occasions when everyone is able to post their turn in a timely fashion. <3

It has not mattered so far whether quickhost is on, because Pythium is not taking turns.

Why don't you join more games then, or hell you could just play against each other thats really interesting.

I'm already 6 or 7 games I think - I lose count when I can't rely on turns being there at any given time. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif And I thought that's what I was doing here - playing against other people. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif

Pythium is almost utterly annihilated at this point. I don't want to ask for AI, since I am their neighbor, and we've been peaceful, but it seems like there should be some sort of solution.

Anyways, I'd just like things to only take as long as they have to, is that wrong? If you aren't getting your turn in during the first 24h after hosting, turning on quickhost won't keep you from having the second day to do what you need to do. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif And if you're the last person to go, it'll host immediately, so if you have time you can do 2 turns at once. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

If the only reason why turns don't go faster is Pythium not playing anymore, we should ask Pythium whether they want to keep playing and if not, turn them into ai.

If I remember right, Pythium wanted to keep playing but is in Mexico for a few weeks and we never found a sub.

I am only in two games and it's too much! Some of us spend much more time thinking about our turns than others do, it seems.

Well, "some" of us also have much more unoccupied free time than others. <.<
