I bet I know what happened here. Baalz started up a VP game on the Faerun map, and llamaserver defaulted the VP requirement to 25 rather than the 50 he wanted. My guess is the same happened here, but no-one noticed.

Well to be honest we are on turn 70, so 25 was probably a better total anyway. With 45 we could have been playing till turn 150 or so...not pleasent.

Still, it would be nice if someone could have a go at stopping Ulm, if at all possible.

Unfortunatly no, I dont have enough time at hand right now.

But the VP setting was really a bit weired - I noticed I was 3 provinces short of winning 5 turns ago. I had never been at war with *anyone*, I just happened to get a lot of the 4VP indie provinces. And managed to spam 4 iron angels a turn with my blood stone economy:)

As noted above, it was supposed to be 45. A bug with llamaserver meant the game went to 25 VP instead, and nobody noticed until recently. I guess the game could be restarted, if you like? :D

Meglobob made a good point about the game time required though (although I think a nation with enough teleporting/Trapezing SCs could probably have stolen a win sooner than that).

No mean feat winning with Ulm, even if you didn't after fight anyone to do it. I take it Pan/Jotun got involved in a blood thirsty war with each another? Allowing you to sneak throu?

I should have built more stone spheres earlier and spied on the western VP provinces. Then hit them with my tarts. Oh well...nevermind.
