For some reason, my memory is suggesting that Rush may have stolen that from someone else. Blake seems to ring a bell.

Google comes up with, among other things, Ezekiel 1:16 and Arthur Miller's "The Crucible".

But the first thing I thought of was Dusty Springfield's "Windmills of Your Mind". http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I am impressed that so many of you are obviously closet Rush fans - I believe Neil Peart highjacked the wording from Poul Andersen who in turn highjacked it from Blake

Anyone care to name the song and album?

Quikngruvn - yep, the Cantina is a place to chill and indulge in a little SEIV related posturing and, as the song says, if you dont what you see here, get the funk out etc

Saxon, I am not going to even to ask what you were doing at a Kenyan muscleman competition - were you helping them grease themselves up or something? Hmm, methinks the public have the right to know

Moose kissers is a slang territorial army term for Canadians who, I might add, I had the honour to go on exercise with. It is actually a term of affection. You dont even want to think about what we called american soldiers

Tigga,

Sometimes I wonder what you are thinking. I was obviously at the muscleman show looking for big bruisers to keep my staff in line. I figure a ratio of three enforcers to each staff member will focus the workers on their duties. Naturally, when things get out of line, you lose a few people and need to get replacements.

If you want to get very odd, put a Rush CD in your CD drive while playing SEIV. You will find that it takes different tracks at different times of the game. Think of the different music in the game and then drop in random tracks from your favorite Rush album. One guy claims that the game runs faster if you put in Tubular Bells, Mike Oldfeild, I think. Very old thread in the forum.

Saxon, glad you got your gold, is everyone who is going to play the Galactic Bash want to try getting started sometime at the end of next week, or should we wait until everyone has a chance at the gold????

As for Testrone levels, believe me, at my age ANY testrone level is quite an experience to have http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

GT, then "Moose Kissing" is a Canadian only concept?? What about the "Kenya Gnu Smooching"? My, my, so many new and different directions for research, sigh, I don't know if I'll ever catch up, just researching "Circle the Wagons" and The Gryphin Position" takes up so much time let alone the injuries to ones wrist while cking the various aahh, eerrr, scientific sites found on the net.

BY all means, everyone who reads this thread is more then welcome to drop in, have a brewski or two and enjoy yourselves and post whatever you would like (within reason).

Also in regards to the Cantina serving Wenches, I'm afraid they are hired by Growltigga and The Gryphin, so we are at their mercy in this area of enjoyment, however I have already let them be aware of what I enjoy in this far reaching regard when it comes to the bouncing activities of the serving employees, and if you check out earlier in the G&G thread you would see that GT has much experience at sipping toddies and enjoying the finer aspects of oooggglinng world wide, and as for the Gryphin, the man attracts them like fleas on a cat http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif so I would say I don't think we have any wilderbeasts here, BUT, then again one never knows

Nah, I am not that old Tesco and except for memorable renditions of Anarchy in the UK a la Sex Pistols, I was more a glam rocker in my youth

Was well into all those Californian bands like night ranger, poison, tony macalpine etc

Saxon, I find your excuse as to why you were attending the Mr Muscle competition as extremely spurious - is there a darker side of your character you would like to confess to your compatriots on the forum?

I do put Rush on the CD when playing SEIV - some of their more instrumental numbers are quite excellent during combat - almost as good as I my megadeath compilation CD

Mike Oldfield has weird effects on one when playing the computer, more a case of Tubular Bowels one feels

"What's going on in here?", Pull up a chair, let your hair down and join us. Short of the standard "forum etiquette" restrictions including but not limited to Flaming and referances to R rated activeties, just about anything on or off topic goes. A lot of banter, (which is how this got started).
Welcome and Enjoy
