Mirror Mirror on the wall!! which minefield is fairest of them all?
some allusion to German speaking country's yellow WW2 minefield sign :) https://www.reddit.com/r/PropagandaP...87_protesting/ Interview with Author ;) https://www-polskieradio-pl.translat..._x_tr_pto=wapp |
Re: Ukraine 2021(?)
The NATO (and incidentally Chinese) poison gas, biological, and fallout symbols are usually black on yellow.
Mines are typically black on blue (friendly) or black on red (enemy). No blue or red for gas/bio/nuke cause they're not friendly to anyone! |

You WILL see a lot of white on red. You WILL see some that are black on yellow with the word MINES You WILL see some that are predominantly white with a red border and a black skull What you won't find is black on blue or black on red So if you find some examples of these rare signs please do share |

Re: Ukraine 2021(?)
I have a smaller version I am going to see how it looks when actually placed on the map..... this is just a simulation with the smaller version on the right
Does the same job and is just as recognizable but its about 14% smaller https://i.imgur.com/YBb6cDv.png It may not seem like much but it would on a crowded map |

COLOR (FILL) The default colors used to designate standard identity are blue for friendly or assumed friend, red for hostile or suspect, green for neutral, and yellow for unknown or pending. |
Re: Ukraine 2021(?)
None of those are commonly used to denote the locations of mines on the ground
"green for neutral" NEUTRAL MINES ? That has more to do with maps When I said "examples," I thought it was clear that meant an actual photo of a sign in use on the ground, in a conflict area That said, WYSIWYG and if WYS isn't to your liking the original mines will still be in the game files |
