Due to England's outstanding performance Last Friday, I have taken a further week off work and got tickets for Wednesday's game.

ahhh, I must endeavor to facilitate that I shall be quite busy thru this Friday, therefore, I more then likely will not be able to enable my most hedious computer essance until late in the evenings, probably around 10-10;30 midwest time...

The atmosphere is fantastic and the Japanese are excellent hosts, this is brilliant

Guys, start the game without me, I have got another 2 weeks accrued holiday to use and have just got a ticket for the England/Denmark match (and cheaply too at about $250)

hmmmm, Mac sneaks a few minutes of fun time between work and walks into the cantina for some cool relaxation. The bartender approaches him at the bar and politely explains how his tab has reached astronomical proportions, (but not as large as the tigga's). hmmm, I don't remember eating and drinking that much before, hmm Has the Tigga been back or lurking around tampering with my tab???? He tells the bartender the checks in the mail and to draw a nice cold brewski and quick sandwich., ahhhh, I sure missed that. But work calls so after downing is spririts and wolfing his food, Mac slowly walks back out into the world of unadulterated, disgusting work...
Oh and he tells the bartender to put a drink and breakfast on his tab for Pooh Star and the rest of todays patrons, (he winks and tells the tender to put it on Tesco's Tab, he tried for Tigga's but the bartender said it was quite large and needed some investment first...)

Greetings from Tokyo.

Tigga, lurking in the rafters of the Cantina(after all, cats are arboreal) watches Gryphin leave with his poncy and slightly fey breakfast. Tigga then drops down on Dogscoff from above therefore cunningly avoiding the circle of traps and proceeds to show him what the plucky Lewis did to that oik Tyson in the 6th, 7th and 8th rounds. Tigga also shows Dogscoff that a shotgun can be successfully utilised as an enema. Finally, Tigga takes Dogscoff's happy sacks and shows him how Beckham scored that penalty against Argentina

As a finale, Tigga pees in the cantina's yoghurt supply and puts cayenne pepper on all the bananas

PS tragedy, I have 2 days to kill until Niigata and no cash until then (lost my credit card Last night)... anyone fancy running a collection for me

The camera pulls back and pans over the chaos in the cantina.

In the corner we have that Rudi Voller lookalike, Mephisto, enjoying a quiet stein or two, elsewhere the floor of the cantina is scattered with broken traps (strangely having pictures of Paul Scholes in each of them), a flaming Tigga is bouncing round the floor.

Tigga bounces into Mephisto and knocks over his stein and then proceeds to douse said flames in lager. "Huzzah" thinks Tigga, "Luckily I was wearing my flame-proof Schumacher catsuit". Tigga goes to secret hatch on all and pulls lever, activating giant magnet on crane outside cantina door. Dogscoff, still with shotgun inserted up his rectum is sucked into the air bottom-first and is stuck to magnet. Tigga moves magnet over back of cantina and drops Dogscoff into large vat of dogpoo.

Dogscoff stumbles out of vat covered in flop (and still smelling like a hobo's underwear thanks to Gryphin's earlier short sighted assault). Whilst Dogscoff is dazed, Tigga then gets his trusty cricket bat and whops Dogscoff hard on the nogggin. Whilst the D is prone, GT ties a bungee cord (suspended under high tension from crane) to Dogscoff's backside and then lets El Scoffo go ---- BOINGGGGGGG

Tigga goes back to the bar, clears up the traps, repairs the mess, buys Mephisto another couple of beers and complements him on looking like Helmut Kohl, puts Demis Roussos on the jukebox, removes 'Tigga Flambee" from the menu and puts "La Pied de Dogscoff a la boing" instead, sticks up another sign banning 'Gryphin' from the cantina, buys a bottle of vintage champagne (on Gryphin's tab), puts on the TV and settles down to watch the Mexico/Italy match with great relish

Speaking of large vats of dogpoo, have any of you tried tonkatsu? I am really not convinced about that - they are lovely people the Japanese but the cuisine we get in the West is heavily sanitised compared to what gets eaten over here- yuk!!!

PS I am broke cos I have treated myself to a new laptop - top of the range dells are cheaper over here but has done a bit of damage to my holiday budget, oh well..

Saxon wakes up from underneath a table, still suffering dreadfully from the seventeen pitchers of beer that he found brought to him every fifteen minutes. He looks at the receipt and notes that Tigga signed for them all and then understands it is not a hangover, but actually a case of attempted poisoning. Seventeen pitchers would not normally have such an effect on Saxon…

And back in the real world, Saxon finds himself having a bad week as staff lay offs hit. Firing someone who deserves to be fired is not a problem. Choosing which good staff members must be laid off due to lack of work is a big problem and tough on the heart. As such, please excuse my absence from the Cantina for the Last few days and please lay up a large supply of beer for tomorrow afternoon. And please keep Tigga and his poison away from the beer, my head still hurts from his Last attempted assassination.

You might want to check it out before you leave Japan and throw away the receipt for you new toy.
Run a search on the forum, there was a thread Last year somewhen about a specific make of laptop a that had trouble with SEIV. It might have only applied to one particular Version of Windoze. I can't remember the details, but I'm 80% certain it was Dell. Maybe the problem even got patched out of the game. Dunno.

Does anyone remember the thread I'm talking about?
