Re: calling all players

Okay, what about this: the turns should be in on Mon/Wed/Fri. Because of time zone differences, I'll wait until around 06.00 GMT +2 before I host the turn. I'll change the game setup so that the program does it automatically. Unless someone says he's going to be away, the program will host the game.

It might've been better to do this from the beginning.

Just realized that the last hosting was today, so the next hosting won't be before wednesday (or thursday, really).

Let us start with force hosting wednesday morning, let us force this game into play. I think both teams should share passwords among them self or send to a leader so that they can help out when people suddenly starts to stale turns, which seems to happens all the time.

Thursday morning, but it'll force host. For some people, Thursday morning might still be late Wednesday...

Not a bad idea.

Re: calling all players

Quickhost is still on. That means that if all players have submitted their turns, the game will automatically host. However, as you can see from the "hours left" timer, the game automatically knows not to host on Wednesday.

EDIT: Initially I thought that you had wondered why the turn was ready earlier than it should, but now I started to wonder if the game hosted too early, with you missing a turn. So, did the turn host before someone played his turn? This is my first time using the automated hosting like this, so mistakes can happen... And I'd want this to be clear before the next turn hosts. Two stale turns in a row wouldn't be fun.

EDIT2: And sorry for the typos. It seems I slept too little, and write stupid mistakes.

I was the last person to play my turn. It then hosted and I played my next turn to make sure that I wouldn't miss. I meant to post a note informing everyone that the new turn was up... but it was late and I was sleepy... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

if anyone other than the players read this i would like to give an update: ive just been hit by jotunheims pretender and some mercs, next turn his pretender left and i repelled the mercs with some PD, now his pretender has returned with around 50 giants (and he will probably be doing quickness + falling frost again) and is about to own me, farewell
