Re: BearTrap - Early age game. Running like a cripple in a running competition.
Hello all!
I'm the long gone Oceania player of this game (can't believe I'm still in this). Sorry about the stalling on my part, but I was unfortunately injured in that horrible explosion that happened in Oslo, Norway this summer (I'm ok now by the way). So I've had my mind elsewhere to be honest, and didn't even think about this until today. I guess I might as well be set to AI at this point, can't imagine that there's much left. Anyway, looking forward to playing more Dominions, and good luck with the game :) |

nerozero, thanks for checking in, and I'm glad to hear that you are OK.

Sorry about the recent staling and all of that. My current schedule sorta has me missing both the reminder and deadline. I'm going to put a bit of effort looking for a sub.

Sorry about the stale, I sent in my turn I think a full 12 hours before the deadline. Llamaserver only replied after the turn hosted already, and it reflected that I sent in the wrong turn number.

Going to be out of town for the next few days, I'm not sure if I'll have internet access and whatnot so I might need a delay on the next turn.
Edit: That is, I should be able to get this turn in a few hours, but y'know. |

Eh, doesn't seem like I can edit my prior message, but a bit of an issue popped up and the trip is delayed until thanksgiving, so no delay required.

Sorry for the delay folks, I've got family in from out of town and I've had little/no time for play the current turn.

Re: BearTrap - Early age game. Running like a cripple in a running competition.
Time to specify the VC - from Quitti's initial post:
"Hold 1/3 caps (7 caps for 16+3) for 3 consecutive turns" I've never been exactly clear on what exactly defines 'holding a cap' in these self regulated VC games. I presume it at least means being in control of (and not just besieging) the capitol's fortress, if there is one. Or does just controlling the province fulfill the VC (no need to actually storm the fortress - although that just seems too easy)? If control of the capitol's fortress is necessary, is it also necessary to control the province as well? Or is holding the fort alone enough to count as control? In games with established VP conditions (meaning VP locations built into the map), I'm pretty sure just controlling the cap fortress is enough to claim the VP. Just wondering, cause, well, it's gettin' about that time... ;) |

Hey Guys, I've postponed the next host for about a week at LoloMo's request so he can celebrate his honnymoon.
TwoBits, re your VP question, holding the fort alone is enough to count as control. :) |
