Re: Late Era Team Game
I was considering what to do, but Patala just saved me from making the decision by attacking me. I'll sign NAPs with anyone else who wants them, 3 or 6 turns notice as people prefer. Offer is good for as long as I'm at war with Patala provided you don't attack me or my ally first.

Re: Late Era Team Game
Ah Dr P, let me be honest.
I actually didn't want to attack you, my ally did say I should. So I made the order and wanted to talk to my ally more... then I did save and quit... and my turn was processed anyway... I was not pleased but couldn't be helped. but wait do I see next turn.. a 190 persons large ARMY behind the province I took. So IMHO your mind was already made up, 190 person armies are NOT used to take indies. PS you must have the most insane kind of luck to get flagellants when having your bless.. as if the jags are not enough to deal with. |
Re: Late Era Team Game
Hi!
How much communication is normally done through in-game messages and PM respectively. I'm finding myself inclined to use in game messages, and a bit unsure if PM's are considered unethical and if so, under what circumstances. I'm also finding myself roleplaying more in messages than in PM's. |
Re: Late Era Team Game
ingame is too slow for real communications IMHO only for flavor texts
I'm talking on this forum mainly to get things done thinks like asking NAP's, agreeing on borders etc.. can't really be done in-game. |
Re: Late Era Team Game
FYI the Highlander game I'm moderating was started with the rule "no out of game communication", which has been seen as very novel, but at least one person left in frustration. I'd say 90% of the communications I get are through the forums and I've never known anybody to feel that was unethical.

Re: Late Era Team Game
I guessed as much, but I thought it would be nice to know.

Re: Late Era Team Game
basicly the ingame communication system is sufficient.. I'm not trying to annoy you or anything http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif just saying...
and don't loose your temper in the game.. wouldn't want that http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif |
Re: Late Era Team Game
You play a dangerous game prince of death, taking on the throne of bones. The very throne you so covet is fused from the essence of previous would be regicides, their souls bound to restlessness, their words whispers in my ears for all time. Come, boy, meet true royalty and know fear.

Re: Late Era Team Game
Frysen does not covet thew throne of bone.
Frysen has a frozen coast full of bones. There are more bones on the coast than the Arssartut can count. And they count. We, the people of the frozen coast, on the other hand covet food, and fish have become exceedingly rare in the border provinces. Two out of three fishes are floating with their pale bellies swollen in the darkened sunlight. The clouds of darkness billowing out from the wasted land has led our seal hunters to the conclusion that you, vile queen, is the scourge of the fish and enemy of the world. For the sake of the piscine lifeforms your unnatural existence must be unmade. Frusen En, Voice of Frysen |
