Re: SP and SPAA Developments
Don,
The ICON looks really good! It's your passion and little experience helps as well. Also, I've looked into the T-55S a little more, and though the info is a little "scant" on this tank and after some further thought, I've edited my last post (240) to commit to SURVIBILITY 5. More a "gut"/integrative feeling based I what've read than anything else. To my "project" as discussed, ran into a couple of MINOR issues equipment wise which I'll try to PM you on hopefully later tonight. Regards, Pat :capt: |

Re: SP and SPAA Developments
When we talk about tanks they will be accompanied by domestic SPG's finally production of serial series of Bohdana started and first vehicles looks like are ready now. If you look on photo cabin is a little bit different but is hard to say that they use original KraZ chasis or just totally different vehicle?
BTW that is Herculean effort in war torn country :) https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39....Kg&oe=63D7AB6A and here full article https://en.defence-ua.com/industries...ssis-5562.html https://mil.in.ua/en/news/2s22-bohda...ss-production/ Second issue is the plan to use old Kub SAM launchers with new Sea Sparrow rockets https://en.defence-ua.com/industries...aine-5375.html https://en.defence-ua.com/weapon_and..._for-5366.html |
Re: SP and SPAA Developments
I'm only posting this to avoid confusion between the two types of CAESAR SPA. I'm not sure of the status of the procurement of the CAESAR 8X8 in regard to how many if any they physically have.
But Denmark has decided to donate all 19 units to the Ukraine. They are looking to possibly replace them with 19 Israeli ATMOS units due NEXTAR's current production issues to replace French donated units and to meet other existing orders from other countries. Advantages in the "quick" better armor protection as can be seen in the pics from the refs., the range of the VLAP round is increased to 55km (I believe the 6x6 is slightly less.), carries more rounds @ 36 and is capable of direct fire on targets out to 2000m (I honestly not sure if the 6x6 can do this or not.) Demark is the only user at this time and again we don't how they have and when they'll release them if they do have them. https://www.armyrecognition.com/defe...eli_atmos.html https://www.armyrecognition.com/armo...act_sheet.html Gotta get ready for work, I'll be putting some miles on my boot soles today!!!! :D  And loving it for real!! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fobey1pW...pg&name=medium there will be also K239 Chunmoo build on the same Jelcz chasis |
Re: SP and SPAA Developments
OK, I have had them in the OOB for a couple of months and right now for guesses I am giving them a 10/123 start....... I think that is being too generous but better info may be accessible in the next couple months
Thinking anything Poland wants and Ukraine needs it'll be Ukraine that gets it first. But we'll see..... |
