By taking over his provinces one at a time. And of course you know where he is every turn he attacks you. And his army is usually too small to push yours back, which means you can hit him once he's attacked.

I can build an army every two turns, probably more if I started alchemizing. Can you? Can you build an army that's resistance to unbreakable chaff, trampling, and mind-enslaving?

I was assuming he was talking about his pretender(who accompanies his armies), but yeah, that's a good point too. I need an army composed solely of Mind Lords http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif SC? Mind Enslave. Mage? Mind Enslave. Undead army led by undead? Mind Enslave commanders. Regular army? Mind Enslave. Chaff army? Soul Drain + Mind Enslave. Mind Lords are awesome.
