Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
K.O.T.H. Zharktas vs Katchoo: 2409.5
Zharktas surrenders. It looks like we both played cautiously throughout, with neither side really making a strike beyond the borders of the opponent. Zharktas did show larger Fleets then I did early on, but my tech base appeared to be ahead of his, and my outnumbered Ships managed to defeat just about every Fleet of his that we came across. That, in combination with a faster Colonization program from my end, backed Zharktas' Empire into a corner that he couldn't get out from. I want to thank Zharktas for a competetive game that always had me worried that he would suddenly appear with a massive Fleet that I wouldn't be able to stop. Whew! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif Asmala, go ahead and set me up with whoever may be waiting on the 2nd Level. Zharktas, thanks again for a fun match. |

I lost this game, due to a better player and not thinking my Strategy thru propertly. I designed a Empire with the plan of winning in the Long-term & followed thru with that Strategy, even through it was a Medium map, and we had early contact. Of course not paying 200% attention ()let only 100% attention) against a top rated player doesn't help either. I only noticed I lost my advanced southern colony, when my first defensive ship arrived with low supplies only to find no resupply depot existed anymore. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif |

K.O.T.H. Rand vs Grazic 2400.0
Standard Koth game, with Large planet start. It is a bit of a relief to be playing a game that is not rated. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Good luck Rand. |

Gravey vs Slynky - 2404.2
The Gravey Empire surrenders. We were fairly well-spaced in the galaxy but I seemed to get the lion's share. That's tough to work against when you're down by 25K in research, and 25 colonys...the numbers only get worse. Thanks for a good game, Gravey, and nice fast turn turnaround is always appreciated. Good luck in your next advance up the hill ! |
