Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
I wonder where Asmala is. Not like him to take off and not let us know. (maybe I missed it somewhere)

I will do my best up top - though the rarefied atmosphere is making me giddy. I was suprised that you didn't attack my lonely planet all by itself in the shared system we had. Also I didn't see you come into the system to the east of it either? Of course this just made me more paranoid about what to expect! |

As to the lonely planet, I already told you my plan to try to gain back some lost advantage...I prepared for 10-12 turns building sweepers, troops, and troopships to try to get the breathers. I moved them within 1 turn's movement the same turn you showed up with 48 ships http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif . To me, it was worth more to try to get breathers from it than just glassing it. And the system to the east you referred to, since I fought 4 or 5 ships in the system to the east of THAT one, I assumed you already had shipyards in there and the usual mines, etc. Since where that occurred at was at the far end of my exploration, I didn't have the system built up yet and there was only one SY at the time I fought those few ships of yours. And I nearly got beat, remember. |

I'll update the Koth page now, but I can't create new games due to problems in PBW server. Or actually I can create the games but I can't assign new players to them. |
Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
OK, Koth page is updated now.

Hey Asmala -
Congrats on graduating! For our game - I'm stuck with a v1.84 exe that doesn't want to upgrade, so I won't be able to do my KOTH turn until I get home Saturday... Sorry again for yet another delay! |

King Of The Hill - Asmala vs Spoon, 2404.7
Borders are established and it looks like Spoon got a bit bigger part of the galaxy. I didn't take ancient so I don't know how good systems he have, but my side of the galaxy contains too many useless systems to my taste. Spoon has lead in scores all the time, and that worries me a lot. Every turn I fear a appearance of a giant fleet, but luckily it hasn't happened yet. There has been one bigger battle, Spoon's destroyers against my weapon platforms. My platforms were victorious and it saved my butt that time. I fear next time Spoon will be prepared to meet those weapon platforms... |

Mark the Merciful vs Slynky - 2400.3
A Trithian scout-ship (or gun-ship?) warped into the system and is headed straight for our planet. Bum. |
