If Pan really cannot or does not want to give me a fight then yes, there is no point in continuing. I can do some battles to Lanka, but it cannot change overall outcome. MY armies there are so massive that nothing can stop me, only cause some casualties [especially that B summoning province].

I see Pan has Treants, lots of mages, hordes of Maenads, so looks like nothign that can hurt me, unless he has something up his sleeve...

I apologize for the recent stale, I ran into unforseen circumstances while I was on a road trip.

In regards to the game, I would be okay with calling it for Abysia. I agree with Zeldor that I threw away my opportunity to win. I ran into the upkeep wall with pan early and that really slowed me down until I got transformation. After that, Abysia's dominate graphs position made me expect that others would join me in some kind of dogpile, but it never materialized for me and RL interfered for a couple of crucial weeks when I really didn't have time to spend 3 hours prepping for a war. It also took me forever to diversify my magic (I really screwed up pretender design, going for a big dragon instead of the rainbow I should have gotten).

I have a lot of resources left to devote in a war against Abysia (I think substantially more than Zeldor realizes), but without Vanheim's help I don't really stand much of a chance and he is not interested in war with Abysia. Unless Vanheim joins a war, congrats to Zeldor. Well played, especially in taking advantage of the free water.

I had fun in both Lunar Sea and Unsanity, so I would be all for playing in a third version of this kind of game.

I may well start a third game at some point after this one dies. My intent had been to try one with a pantheon victory though, and that'd want a lot of players.

Meh, while you might have things going for you, Alpine Joe, I don't really. I'd be OK with just calling it for Zeldor. :p

With everyone bar TNN (and myself I guess, as I'm being neutral) having called for an end to the game, I think it'll be okay to finish this one.

Congratulations, Zeldor!

Thanks :) I think I had the game won for a long time. I found Ultimate Gateway and other good sites. Lanka could put some fight thanks to his blood 40 site, but with it, it was even worse to attack Sauro when he did. If he waited and got way more B and used his site, who knows? With Dakinis, Mandehas backed by hordes of storm demons, he could win. Lanka is way superior than Abysia. But well - winning is about making less mistakes than your opponents :) But someone will be sad as he won't be able to play Abysia in next Cripple Fight :P

I was just wondering. How did you get that ridicilious research up?

Also, if anyone has anything to say about the CPCS spells or the Holy War sites, I'd love to hear it.

CPCS? I used it a bit, but got seriously out-maged anyway (hazard of being Ulm). Personally, I like Holy war for the added flavour of the sites and summons.

I'm guessing some of the research came from transformation spam and consequent hordes of free researchers?

Yeah, Pan's research was really impressive. I was not using any lanterns, but I expected to run into bigger upkeep problems, that'd slow his research.
