Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
Well, actually this connection is a dial-up. I'm moving again quite soon (in two or three weeks) assuming I'll get an apartment near my university. If I'm able to get a student house there should be a fast broadband connection waiting http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
I'm very satisfied to get this connection working, it took a lot of time. Finally I found that the problem was Winsock2 information which had been corrupted. A nice program found from the net fixed it. And before that I had removed and reinstalled twice all of my network related stuff http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif |

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
Hi VadimBey,
We have been assigned to a KOTH game. Here is a suggestion for our game. How about the standard KOTH settings with no intel. If you have any ideas for the game please let me know. Later Fire |

re: Electrum Vs Rand
Asmala, We've discussed it. Please set the game to default settings plus no Intel. Thanks for you support. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |
Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
KOTH - Slynky vs Gravey 2405.1
After looking at the whooping I took at the hands of 15 warships (losing 25-30 myself while killing 1), it's time to call it a game. This turn followed on the heels of me killing a fleet of his (about 10-12 warships) on the other side of my empire (while watching my fleet of about 30 warships get whittled to their knees). Needless to say, with Gravey having bigger ships, better ECM, better Sensors, and shielding, things won't get any better http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif . Sorry I couldn't have given you a better game, Gravey, but starting on an outside system with your home system 2 away from me (to my inside...thus being able to block off my expansion fairly easily) was more than I could overcome. As if being pinned to a few outside systems wasn't bad enough, my homeworld was on the very bottom of the system screen (meaning it took me 3 turns just to get a ship out of my home system heading north...and that's with propulsion bonus!). Of course, you knew it was a tough spot and I thank you for offering to restart. Good luck up the Hill http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif . Asmala, when you get a chance to set me up with another opponent, I'm the one in the mud puddle at the bottom of the hill http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif . |

Hey Slynky,
