The Aragorn falling into river scene was not part of the book, and did not really add anything at all to the story that I could determine.

I can just about cope with Aragorn falling into the river, I can also cope with the Arwen add-ons (mainly cos Liv Tyler is such a fox), I can just about cope with Faramir not being the noble heroic chap he was in the book, I can even cope with the Hollywood scenes but what I cant cope with (and my only criticism of both the movies) is the bloody elves turning up to save the day at Helms Deep.
They were not there, dont presume to invite them!!! Next thing is we might get an army of hobbits pitching up for the Pelennor Fields!! |
