Re: OT: Star Trek: Enterprise

I say they hire Sachmo, Dogscoff, and a few other writers from here, including myself, as the new writing staff for Season four. They fire Braga, or at least demote the little (Reported) back stabbing, (Rumored) snivilling idea theaving, (confirmed)snobbish yuppy SOB, and make someone who cares like Ira Steven Burr the Executive Produce.

OF course the new writing staff would have more say, by contract, and thus more of the stories would be original and not rehashed episodes of older shows.

I like the cast, but we should have a new cast member, one that is accidently shoved into a torpedo tube and shoot out into space. Hey Brandon can guest star for that episode.

Seriously, Brandon has a lot of great ideas for the show, but he wants it to be uniquely his. They have gold mine here, but like with Voyager, they are just dropping the ball with the writing. However many of the episodes in season there were outstanding and original, the over all feel of the show has slowly dwindled down to, and I quote: "Man this Sh*t is borning."

Brent Spiner may be appearing as a guest star on Enterprise. He'll be playing a mad scientist type Dr. Soong - which is suppose to be an ancestor of the later Dr. Soong would creates Data. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Might be interesting.

Edit:

Ok. Perhaps I'll read ALL the Posts next time. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

I really like the "enterprise" series a lot, but the storyline could be a lot better.
I think it is done to achieve more mass-appeal, have a lot things happen in one episode, but with less development of story and character. It fits the american way of how a movie should be better than how star trek was in the past.

I thought Kirk's dad was a farmer. Didn't JTK grow up on a farm in Iowa?

What would be cool is if the Enterprise series is actually taking place in the mirror universe. It would be cool to see a evil earth/vulcan alliance take over the universe.....hahahha

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Yup. Cool concept, you should send in a story line, I am sure if your agent is good, you can sell it to them. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

That would be an interesting episode to say the least.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">From what I can remember, Shatner's dad was named Samuel, same as his brother's name. Sam Kirk the elder was the chief security officer of Robert April's NCC-1701 (April was the captain of the Enterprise before Pike). I don't know if Kirk's farm was a working farm, or in the 23rd century they had automated planters and harvesters so a man can travel in space and still keep a farm. If Shatner does appear as a Kirk ancestor, it would have to be a great, great grandfather or something like that.
