Seriously, good discussion all; I think we've reached a logical and balanced conclusion. Now the only trick is to figure out which components can be repaired by which kind of facility. Some are easy - SM components should require a planetary facility for repair. Armor should be repairable anywhere. BTW: we don't want to prevent a ship space yard from BUILDING one of the SM components, just keep it from REPAIRING one of the SM components. The programmers would have to watch out for that... |
