Re: Merry Christmas from Malfador!
That ship must have been caught in a super storm where ultra-cold air from the upper troposphere was transfered to the surface, which corresponded in temperatures of -150°C within seconds. The fuel-lines then froze, and the ship crashed.

Re: Merry Christmas from Malfador!
No, it means I used one of AT's starbase models in this render to give it a more sci-fi feel. Did I choose wrong to make an 'Ice Planet' render for xmas? I thought it was apropriate.
This is not to say that AT won't ever Mod-in this starbase once the game is out http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |
Re: Merry Christmas from Malfador!
The wind moaned softly around her upright spires as the snow finally began to settle on a hull now cool enough for it not to melt. A crackling groan briefly overwhelmed the wind's noise as the water around the stranded hulk refroze, trapping the ship in it's icy grip. Inside, though her life support is fully functional, the atmosphere is no less icy. The two occupants of the ship sit side by side, staring at the viewscreen that shows only drifting whiteness. Finally, one turns it's four eyes to fix the other with an accusing glare, and spoke for the first time since the crash.
